Lotus Festival Roleplay '10!

"Kindall!" Kyra overshot her fish she was so surprised. She gave her son a warning look. "You don't say something like that, young man!"

She was a patient woman. Her net had yet to break, but the fish kept slipping off the darn net.

"Oh, ok." He smiled sweetly up at Shu, then squeaked at his mother. "Sorry, Mama! I'll be good!" he promised, unable to know as his parents did just how long that type of promise lasted... only until the next distraction. "And I was just giving suggestions..." He looked up at Shu. "You have fluffy hair. It's almost as fluffy as mine!" The boy grinned.

AJ having finished her meal, decides to join the group, hoping to make new friends. Standing up she stiffens, she feels a burning. Looking at her hand she notices the dark marks that will be seen even if they are faint and that only means one thing. Pulling up her cloaks hood, she says to Diva, "She's here." Hearing Diva growl at that, AJ looks around slowly and carefully as not draw attention. She does not see any new faces in the area. Not sure if she sure join the group now, she stands there for a few moment at an indecision.

Sho looked at Luna thoughtfully. "Y'know, when you feel like you have the least time to enjoy yourself, you need that time the most." He sighed. "You're at a festival. Enjoy things while you can."

The man couldn't help but to cringe up at the sound of a mother's scold. They all seemed the same, and if there was one thing that he was used to from his childhood, it was scolding. "Uh oh, kid. That's my cue to go." He says with a grin. Even though he knew that he had nothing to do with the situation, it was his deep-rooted instinct to steer clear of any mother's scold. "See ya!" He ran off to find a less crowded game.

"Well Sho I would be back at home, but my herd didn't like the idea of me been friends with an Ice Dragon humonid, the fear that it would come and kill us all. So I was chased away, so here I'm now," he said then glares at some humans.

"Sometimes I wonder if they have some respect at all for others then I see how they treat themselves and don't complain that much," he said with a smile.

He sighs a bit it then notice a kid near the game, he quickly kneels down given the child the fish. The kid return hugs him and runs off towards the parents. He watch as the kid point him out, the parents bow towards him, while he gave a simple way towards them.

"So what clan leader are you? I have meet the water, earth and the fire ones. I"m thinking there another dragon leader around. I think this one might come out of no where and ride on my back or attack my flank," he said as he turn his head to look around.

Silver blushes a bit at Kinny statement his friend the ice dragon taugh him some human things, "Well you got an intersting Uncle," he said with a bit of red on his white face.

"Bye bye, Mister Shu!" the boy shouted, waving his arm after the man. He scampered over to the nearest person and greeted them. "Hello!"

(( I just realized I've been saying Shu instead of Sho! D8 Forgive me! *harakiri!* Kinny's fault! Blame the cute kid! ))

Luna shook her head as the other left, but changed and jumped into the air, flying back to the Hill she was on earlier and lay in the shade of a tree.

AJ notices that some are leaving and it might be a good thing that she leave too. She walks up to Kinny, hoping that her hood is covering her markings.

"Hey, Kinny." AJ says, bending to his height. "I want to thank you for including me in your adventure today. I enjoyed. And great job with the fish. But now I have to go. Maybe I'll see you later."

"Ok, Miss!" he said before giving her a hug. The boy had a slight nosebleed currently, though he was trying hard not to get it on her. "I'm glad you had lots of fun too! Good night." The boy gave her a sweet smile after separating from her.

Rhee looked over the baubles in the stand flasks most of them were, oddly shaped and wonderfully colored. She bought a green flask and paid the stall owner. She then asked for directions to the nearest potion stall. which turned out to be very far away. Rhee sighed and headed off in that direction, best to have a powerful healing potion so they next time she ran into some one injured she could fix it right away.

Silver decide to step away from this also decide to catch up with Rhee. He smiles happily catching up with his with his tail wagging happily.

"I caught a fish Rhee, but I gave it to a kid since I couldn't keep it as a pet," he said with a smile on his face.

He sighs a bit sniffing at the air today then shakes himself as he walks along the area next to his friend.

"So where will you go after this festivable going to end? Me I'm not sure yet," he said softly with his ears down wondering what will going on when this festiable ends.

A young woman ran into someone with a squeak before stumbling, then falling onto her back. "Oof..." Cheea muttered as she began to get up. "Don't mind me, just fallin." she grumbled as she got up. She had been running towards, or away, from something.

AJ accepts the hug although unexpected and smiles back before standing and heading off into the crowd.


Blending into the crowd, she makes she way back to the lotus trees where she has set up camp. Upon reaching the trees she stays in the shadows. Finally reach her camp she finds the tree with her stuff and pulls herself and Diva up into the tree so they can get some rest before tomorrow because there will be a lot of hiding.

"oof"
Rhee looked down at a girl.
"s'okay, would take more then that to knock me over."
She shook the healing potion at silver.
"for that girl the earth leader mentioned, where too? I've got a hut midway up on of those mountains. makes traveling during summer eaiser for metal and glassware."
Rhee smiled

Cheea gave a brief nod before hurrying along. She had to get back home soon... She had school and work tomorrow!
