Lotus Festival Roleplay '10!

[Fuu Sho]

"D'aww! I totally had that one!" Sho glared into the water of the kingyo sukuyi** tub, pouting. He quickly looked back up and the vendor with excited eyes, holding out one finger. "One more! Just one more time!" The man reluctantly gave him another net and he went back to fishing.

**Fishing game at festivals that involves catching goldfish from a tub with paper nets.

"You catch the little goldfish with a paper net!" he said with a giggle as they got to a stand that had fish in a shallow tank. There were black, white, gold, splotched... All sorts of little goldfish. "I'm gonna try for -that- one!" he said, pointing to an empty area of the tank.

Luna stretched and pulled back before pouncing up into the air, flying over the street.

Eclipse stood up and looked around, pulling her crutches up and under her arms.

Kinny looked up at the man at the man beside the game he wanted to play. "Hi, Mister!" he greeted as he looked in at the fish. "Isn't that one prettiest?" he asked, pointing to an empty area in the tub. On very close inspection, there seemed to be a slight fog inside the water.

Kyra laughed a little as she followed her son from one place to another. She smiled at her son's enthusiasm. "Well, as long as it's not furred."

She seriously hated being allergic to cats, but it was something she couldn't help. At least she wouldn't sneeze to death with a fish.

[Fuu Sho]

"Hah, yeah right!" Sho responded with a huge grin. He pointed toward a black fish with a red underbelly on the other side of the tank. "That one is." He hurriedly drove the net into the water, scaring many of the fish away. When he pulled on out - strangely, the one he was after - the net, of course, broke. The man groaned. "Can't catch the stupid thing though."

AJ looks at the fish tank, but does not see any fish.

"Kinny, are you sure you see a fish there. I can't see one." AJ says.
Still looking in the tank.

Luna landed in an empty alley way and began walking towards the games places, her wings folded in.

Eclipse walked around, looking for a stall with healing potions.

The boy giggled. "I like the one I'm gonna get better." he said with a firm nod. Looking at AJ, he blinked. "You can't see the blue-eyed black one? It must be a ghost then." he giggled, looking at the vendor. "Mister, you have a ghost-fishy in your tank. It doesn't know it's dead." he said with utmost seriousness and a sage-like nod before looking at the live fish, then at the tan-clad man. "I bet I can catch the red-belly before you if we take turns!" he said, an excited grin on his young face.

"I'm sure you'll get it eventually." The blond woman said to Sho, then paused and looked to Kinny, before laughing. "Seems we have a challenge on our hands now. I'll take a net please."

She took the offered net and began to try her hand at this game. She had to find one she liked first though.

Luna walked through the places and came up to a fish game stall and she chuckled at overhearing a challenge and moved to sit by the stall and watch.

"O, your right, Kinny. I see it now. Vaguely. It might be a ghost. Thats interesting." AJ says, looking the tank. Diva pokes her head out again and is eyeing the fish like dinner. AJ sensing this, tells Diva, "No, you can't have the fish, they are for the game. I'll get you dinner soon." AJ laughs as Diva meows pitifully and hides again.

Silver nods his head and heads towards the forest area when his nose sniffs at the air again. As he walks by the stands he notice Kinny again a strange man this time with a funny hat. He chuckles to himself then rubs Kinny hair.

"Allo little one having fun? Ohh fishies," he said with a smile on his face.

He stares at the strange man a bit then shakes his head. "Maybe you should dip it in gentle to get the fish," he said softly.

He settles himself down onto the ground and stares at the fish, he looks down at them with a smile on his face. His tail twitches a bit as he stares at them swimming around. He watches kids trying and catch the fish, he had to laugh and chuckle at them.

The boy took the paper net and watched the red-bellied fish. "Hi, Mama." he said with a grin at the blond woman. "I'm gonna catch that fishy!" he asserted, pointing to the fish that Shu was trying for.

Luna looked over as the centaur came up. "Hello Silver."
