Lotus Festival Roleplay '10!

Squid was rather pleased to have found a new friend who didn't shy away from its oddities. Although, the flush in her cheeks did begin to worry to Squid. ''You're not feeling feverish are you?'' Squid asked, another tentacle coming to first feel against Cheea's blushing cheeks and then her forehead.

Kyra looked around the festival, smiling widely. Her kids were around somewhere, and that meant some relative peace from them, since they were no doubt scattered to the wind.

"Oh..." She beelined for a booth that caught her attention, eyeing the various wares on display. "Amazing craftsmanship..."

Silver sighs watching the child leap off his back going towards his mother. His tail twitches a bit the looks over at Tu raise a brow at him.

"Soo this injured person, where is she or where you makig her up," he said looking up at him.

Kindall tackled his mother's legs. "Mama! Look!" he exclaimed, a pink and gold kimono hanging from his body. It was obviously meant for a girl, and not bought. The booth it came from was right across the street, with the seller watching the boy. "How do I look? Is it cute?" he asked, a big grin on his face.

Cheea shook her head. "I'm fine, just not used to tentacles." she assured, waving the temperature-checking tentacle away.

Rhee leaned over and snatch a few blades of grass off the ground after inspection she nibbled on them.
"seems a lot of ladys are injured, that thing with the broken wing, a lady who was aided by I forgot his name, he had funny ears and wore a red dress."
Rhee shrugged and sighed.

Silver nods his head then sniff at the grass a bit then picks up some grass too and starts to chew on his on tuff of grass happily with his tail wagging a bit behind him.

"Mmm hmmm that man had funny ears, with scales on them," he said looking at Rhee then gets more grass to eat.

AJ finally returns to the festival after unexpectedly disappearing hoping she can enjoy the last few remaining days that are left.

Walking through the festival, she sees that it is has picked up a bit since she was here in the beginning. A jumps a bit because Diva having been hiding decides transform back into a cat and poke her head out of the cloak that AJ is wearing. "Diva, could you give some warning next time you do that." AJ says. Diva replies, "You should be use to it by now." AJ just gives her a look. AJ continues walking hoping to find an store that has art supplies.

"you know I think the grass thats in the forest tastes better, then stepped on grass."
Rhee remarked she dug through her bag and pulled out a few lotus petals.
"the wonders of having a bag things you think you've lost appear at the bottom."

"Cute sweetie." She smiled, then lifted an eyebrow. "That's more meant for a little girl, but it's cute. Let's go take it back to who it belongs to, OK?"

She put down the necklace she had been looking at, ushering her son to the proper booth that sold the kimonos. "Come on."

The boy followed her. "I know, but all the boy kimono aren't as cute as this one." he answered with a giggle as he got back to the booth and let the salesman remove it. The boy happily told his mom the price-- 750 silver, since it was smaller than the big kimono.

AJ having finally found a store that sells art supplies, walks in. She browses through the store seeing what they have. As she browses she picks up what she needs- a couple new sketch pads, pencils, erasers, and other stuff. She is definitely in heaven when she in an art store. Having got want she needs, she heads to the merchant to pay. After paying, she heads out of the store, planning on getting something to eat. Stepping out of the door she accidentally bumped in to someone, distractedly she apologizes to the person she bumped into.

The little boy looked up. "It's ok, Miss." he said with a sweet smile. His clothes were rumpled from being under the pink kimono that the salesman was trying to convince the boy's mother to buy. "I'm Kinny." he said with a nod, dirty-blond curls bouncing.

AJ is startled out of her distraction, Looking out the boy. "Oh. Hi, I'm AJ and this is Diva." replies AJ, with a cat poke her head from under the cloak. "I am sorry. I was a bit distracted there and not really watching where I was going."

"It's ok!" the boy said with a smile. "This place is really busy and distracting... ooh, I see fish! Come with me and let's look at the fish!" the boy cried, grabbing her hand and pulling her towards a fishing game.

"Ok," a bit startled AJ replies as she keeps up.

"A fishing game? I don't think I've seen one of those in a long time. Kinny, you may have to explain the game to refresh my memory or the whole game in case I don't know it at all." AJ saids.
