Hi, I'm Icewing
I stumbled on this site from Pokefarm, and thought that the art looked epic, hence me joining.
Plus, I was bored.
Some of you might know me from the roleplaying sites I'm on, I'm found on Pet Adoptables and TeenRPG under the same name, so you might recognize me.
Now, some useless information about myself because I feel like boring you to death XD

First of all, I'm thirteen years old, in six months and four days I'll be turning 14. Secondly, I'm female. I'm quite tall for my age, and I'm almost 5'7". I have shoulder length pale blond hair that I really wish I could get cut in a crew cut, although my mother threatened to flay me alive if I did. I have ice blue eyes that some people say are pretty, some people say are scary, and I really don't care what they say since my eyes work fine for me. I have pale skin that scars easily, and my arms are coated in scars thanks to my lovely pet chickens and cats.

Now, personality wise, I'm incredibly shy and submissive in real life, and online I'm also quite shy. I tend to speak with a stutter when I speak to people in real life, and I'm always staring at my feet. Most people in real life stay away from me because I talk to myself and get into arguments with myself that tend to embarrass me quite a bit, since I often speak aloud. Online, I'm quite friendly and I try to be as helpful as possible. Most of the time, though, I usually don't interact with online users except to RP, since I'm often far to shy to start up conversations. I love writing and roleplaying, and I tend to use the same OCs over and over again when I RP/Write.

And, just some random facts about me:
-I love JRock music. My favourite bands are The Gazette, Malice Mizer, Moi Dix Mois, An Cafe, and, my new favourite, Mucc
-My favourite singers are Ruki from The Gazette and Tatsurou from Mucc. My favourite guitarists of all time are Mana-sama, from Moi Dix Mois, Bou, formerly from An Cafe, and Reita, from The Gazette
-I speak German as my native language, but I'm better at English, since I've lived in America for so long. I'm currently trying to teach myself Japanese, and am epically failing at that.
-I love the style of Gothic Lolita, and I'm trying to beg my parents to let me get a dress from the brand of Moi Meme Moite.
-I play flute and I sing.
-My favourite colour is blue, although I also like black a lot. Those are also the two most common colours my skin is, thanks to my clumsiness.
-As mentioned above, I'm incredibly clumsy. Currently, I have a broken ankle thanks to a flight of stairs.
-I speak a curious mix of British English, American English, Japanese, and German all jumbled together, and I often add a few words that were last used in the 1500s to the mix as well. I also have a very formal way of speaking, and I tend to avoid using slang.
-I tend to be rather random, if you haven't gathered that already.
-I am a major grammar freak.
-I am half-German and half-Russian, and I live in the USA
-There are two goals I wish to accomplish: 1)Become a spy or an assassin, although any job in the FBI/CIA is fine with me. 2)Move to Japan. Yeah, I have unusual goals.

Well, anyway, sorry for wasting your time with this ^^;; I have no life, and I felt the urge to spout random nonsense on the internet. So, hi ^^

Oh yeah, is it pathetic that it took me half an hour to figure out how to post a topic? XD

I think you're actually one of our younger members, unless many of the others joining lately are your age, but you seem fairly mature for your age so... -clings-

I tend to be too shy to start conversations too... or even greet new people in this area... xD

I don't think it's pathetic, but that's probably because it took me all of one night to figure out how the site worked. >< On that note, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. If I can't answer them, I'm sure someone who can will be around shortly anyway.

XD Oh, I just thought I was babbling on and on about things no one would want to pay attention to XD I have a habit of doing that.

Anyways, hi, Ace ^^ I love your username, weasels are epic creatures. And 'weasel' was actually the first word of Japanese I ever learned, so, yeah, I like weasels XD

I'm glad you find me mature, I'm usually just told that I belong in a different century, not that I'm mature.

I have one question about battling, how exactly does one battle? I just tried to battle, and the first monster I battled was a dragon that kinda-sorta murdered my character ^^;; Did I somehow accidentally click on the link leading to high-leveled battles?

We're in the middle(well, beginning) of a sort-of event for battling, if you could call it that, and the dragons on level 1 with 200+ HP have to be defeated to get nifty wings like the ones I'm sporting. Unfortunately... I imagine that makes it hard on first timers.

But no, you did it right. The first thing I suggest you do though is buy a weapon because otherwise it's practically impossible to battle. The volleyball is usually the weapon I tell new members to buy because it's cheap with a high durability. It's at the bottom of the weapons shop. ^^;;

And if you want a really good guide to the battle system and how your stats and race and complicated stuff such as that affect it, you should go here. It also has lots of stuff to help new members out! xD

Ahh, ok, for a second I thought I had accidentally managed to land myself into a battle for more advanced characters ^^;; So, new goal for myself: Defeat a dragon

Ok, I was using the newbie weapon, but I'll try a volleyball ^^

If you're defeating them for the wingies, you should probably check out the New Dragon Wings Quest thread in the announcement forum.

I never found the newbie weapons to be much use, so I was glad when they created the volleyball. ^^; And you're welcome~

Yeah, the newbie weapon I was using didn't exactly help much, but I did manage to defeat a baby dragon with it

Don't feel bad about your dreams. I want to rule the world and go to Japan. I actually don't care too much about controlling Japan, just most of Western Asia, Eastern Europe, and North Africa, just like the Muslims did for a while, as well as having a large influence on decisions made in the US. I also think it'd be cool to fulfill the anti-christ revelation, despite that people think it's super evil. I just see it giving me a lot of influence. I'm all about influence. Obviously, I'm not quite right in the head, but who is?
I'm working on the planning and research stage of possibly creating a program that is spread throughout many college campuses, and possibly high schools, to help people overcome shyness, but there is an underlying element here. I want to do it to reveal hidden talents that I can work to my advantage. I mean, how many shy people might actually have awesome negotiating skills, but they're too shy to use them, or they can make a sandwich in under a minute, which includes cutting meat, but they are stuck working in an office because they can't work up the courage to get a new job. (Self-esteem and shyness/social anxiety is directly connected)
I don't RP much, because I never really got into it. I once did it for about a week, but just fell out rather easily. I also used to writing stories, almost in an RPG sense, but where you don't get to choose your path, but then its still just a story, eh?

Hi, Neo(I hope you don't mind that I call you that ^^;; )
XD Ruling the world would be awesome. I wouldn't mind ruling the world. It's just that my personality and power really aren't very compatible. I would be too shy to rule the world, not to mention I need someone to order me to do things or else I start getting really nervous.
That's awesome I wouldn't mind using that program once you create it. And yeah, shyness and self-esteem are directly connected *has no self-esteem whatsoever* I definitely know that shy people have epic skills, one of my friends is excellent at solving mysteries and problems, but she never says anything, causing the problem to not be solved, and everyone always tells me I'm amazing at singing even though I hate singing in front of people.
I've been RPing for almost two years now, I'm kinda-sorta obsessed. I love writing stories in an RPG sense, although I also like writing short stories based off of songs, and I love poetry.
And I also have a tendency to write a lot ^^;; People who RP with me tend to get annoyed at me for that because my posts are often either over 1,500 words long, or less than three sentences, and never anything in between, which tends to annoy people a lot.
Sorry that I babble and go off on tangents a lot XD
