I'm seriously going to stress that everyone on the full-time Team list needs to have some sort of activity in here. Not posting at all doesn't give me a good impression of your future activity in the RP. Of course, I understand life can keep you away from the computer, but please notify the team when that happens!
Characters should have at least a basic biography made by now.
Working with more than one character is not mandatory, but may be a good idea when considering the format of the plot.

Ever since ancient times, Man has coexisted with the denizens of heaven and hell, who had warred with each other for even longer. Both heaven and hell watched the plane of man with great interest, seeing them as easily manipulated to join their side, strengthening their armies significantly.
So they started communicating with the plane of man, sending powerful agents to influence man to their specific side of the war. The denizens of hell, known more commonly as the Demons, managed to get there first, tempting man with unfathomable power and uncountable riches. Powerful men around the world commissioned the building of gates to the demonic plane so that they could have access to these powerful entities without much trouble. The first Hell Gate was crafted in the Fertile Crescent, and others followed on all other landmasses where humans were located. What none of these humans realized, though, was that the creatures that came from these gates were horribly cruel and looked to corrupt humanity to do great evils.
While the demons gained power, though, the heavenly beings, commonly known as Angels, were also influencing men, albeit in a subtler manner. Instead of offering power and wealth, they offered enlightenment and true happiness. The Angels told Man the truth behind the power that the demons offered, and quite a few listened, becoming monks and priests. The humans influenced by the Angels fought the demons and managed to close the gates for hundreds of years, saving man from the demons.
Until now.
The time: January 1st, Midnight, 1920. The place: a small village in Ethiopia. After being influenced by many dreams too strange to try and recall, a middle-aged man lured one of the children of the village deep into the forest towards an ancient gate, where the child was murdered in cold blood. The lips of the now deceased child whispered words unheard by any human and the gate that had remained unopened for centuries started to open up once again. The next morning, the people of the village searched the jungle for the two missing people and found the child dead and the man unconcious. When he came to, he was a shell of what he once was, babbling about "what he should have never done".
The news didn't spread much beyond the village, but something was set in motion. More gates started to open, and more Demons came to the world of Man. As gates in more civilized places started to open, more attention was paid to them, and two opinions formed. One was the opinion that whatever was coming out of the gates could be harnessed and used to make whoever managed to manipulate them into a new world power. The other, though, was influenced by the Angels the moment that they felt the first gate open. They told their followers that nothing good could come of these gates and should be shut once again.
And thus the quest to close the Hell Gates begins. From around the world, people are called to aid in the destruction of the demonic forces, while others are called to keep the gates open so that the demons can continue to influence the world. The battle between heaven and hell has come to the world of Man... and it's going to be a wild ride.

Writer's Prerequisite List

A high aptitude for grammar, of course. Not just for the sake of the "Advanced RP Rules," I need to feel and taste what I'm reading. Bad grammar simply will not suffice as it draws attention away from what is being said and to what is wrong with how it is being said.
Descriptive writing. You have to be painfully descriptive. I need to know what color EVERYTHING is. What sound your character's feet make when they walk. Maybe not constantly, but the occasional reference to newly introduced sights and sounds would be nice.
Communication skills. I need to be kept up to date with your character plans and latest ideas. The last thing I want to do is misinterpret a character you've put your heart and soul into. It'd just taste bad to know I alienated your baby in the comic.
Commitment. You have to be available on the scheduled days when the Role Play will be active. Said schedule will not be decided until I have my team, but you should keep that in mind before potentially dedicating yourself to this. I mean business. 
A Good Attitude. Your team mates (including me) are gonna make it frustrating sometimes. We don't mean to, but miscommunication is bound to happen. We just gotta beat it out of each other with a smile.. or something o3o

Ah yes, there are some good points to this.
-You get to role play with a totally awesome team of totally awesome people that I don't even know yet. But we both know they'll be amazing 8D
-You will get a ridiculous amount of fan art of your character in Comic form. I'm freakin' excited for you  (Comic pages will be posted on a hosted site for everyone to view, maybe DA or Smackjeeves)
-Oh, and did I mention it's free of charge? Yeah, you technically have to earn every page by writing it out and putting up with my crazy, but think of all that ART!
-The chance to really test your creative abilities.

| OHMYGODCOUNTMEIN! And yes, in general I am much more literate, but that was an expression of pure joy that could not be stifled! Check Frisky and Bob for the best examples of my posts. I hope you like them... because I am already liking this idea. You were thinking 1850s England or something? Because that is what your first char. page made me think of. And I love 1850s England with a fiery passion. Just in case you wanted to know.

@ Keylaleigh and Koyitar, I so concur. Gaia RPs never grabbed my interest and this is the first site in a long time where a site's RP section has truly impressed me. So This is just a HUGE bag of candy for me XD
@Seitaro Nagase- That's really great. It's that sort of dedication that really makes RPing worth it!
And yeah, I'm not trying to press the idea of Victorian era though o3o
Heck, if Victorian styles are in favor then there's also the option of doing a Victorian theme but more modern. We'll see what the team decides I guess. :]
