"And that would be? What kind of daydream?" she asked, confused though hiding that behind a mask of boredness. Emotions were something that could hurt her, and would if her father found she had shown them.

'Just... just um,' she felt slightly embarassed under the gaze of Biocybera. 'Just... thinking of someone... and, um... they're reaction when they find out I'm a general...' She stared at her dirty fingernails.

"I see. It isn't wise to have enemies in your position. You have little control over your powers, so likely you will not be able to survive, should you be attacked." the woman scolded, looking at her.

'Erm, well, she's not exactly my enemy, it's just that we don't get along very well. It's not like she'll try to attack me or anything, I don't think. Uh, where should I go to find my room?'

((heehee, my character gets nervous easily, especially when being asked questions. she's strange like that))

Bio raised an eyebrow. "Still, don't brag. If she is minion level, she will have no hesitation to try to kill you for your position." she answered, then started walking off, pausing to glance back. "Coming?" she asked.

Miranda nodded and followed her. Sarah wouldn't reallytry to kill her, would she? Nah, surely not. Even if she did manage to kill her, she'd be punished, not promoted, surely? And what about anyone else? They didn't try to kill the other generals, right? Maybe the others were more respected than her, and they were afraid to hurt them.

Biocybera began to walk off. "Follow me." She ordered. "Do you have anything you want from your old bunk?" she asked without looking back. Heels clicked on the shiny metal floors. Thighs rubbed against each other lightly as she walked. Her pace was all business.

'Erm, I don't have much, other than my old uniform, but it would be nice to explain what happened to my room mates so they don't think something horrible happened to me,' said Miranda.

"Your old uniform is burned already. Letting your bunkmates know is not necessary. They are only underlings." the woman said, all business. Five hundred or more people, and one missing, dragged off by the Mistress. They expected the girl to be dead already. It wouldn't be a good idea to be known for randomly getting pissed and upgrading an underling. "By the way. You are no longer Miranda. Generals have a strict naming system based on powers. I am going to call you Hydra. Miranda is dead. Understood?

'Oh... Yes, ma'am.' Miranda tried to hide her disappointment. She had been looking forward to seeing her friends again one last time before officially being recognised as a general. So, she had to change her name too? Well, it did make sense. No one's parents would ever think of calling their children Psiblast or Morticea.

Biocybera led hydra to a room in the Generals' Hall. It had one bed, as opposed to the bunks, where upwards of three hundred people slept each night on bunks going up three levels. There was a closet, a desk with a lamp, an overhead light, a mirror, and an attached full bathroom. "There is a thermostat dial on the wall, keep your room cool to preserve water."

Hydra looked around, admiring the posh place (it certainly was much nicer than where she used to sleep). She took a quick look at the thermostat, deciding to do that later. She put down the bottle of water next to the bed.

"The other generals will be in here soon to meet you. Psiblast may or may not try to kill you. Obsidian will be welcoming, and Morticea will be curious." she listed absently. "Don't get yourself killed. I just made you." she warned, eyes narrowing some.

'Er... Okay, I'll try not to die,' said Hydra, thinking of how funny that sounded. It was funny how someone's life could change completely in so little time. She was now on speaking terms with the generals! Well, maybe not Psiblast.

Biocybera left the room after hearing the child's answer, then nodded to the trio now waiting outside Hydra's room. Let them reintroduce themselves, let her get nervous. It wasn't like she would be as important as those three for a while.

The first to walk in was Morticea, followed by Obsidian and Psiblast. The former two were known as the twin generals, though there was nothing in common between them, they seemed always to know what the other was doing and if the other was hurt, just like they really were twins. Morticea smiled at Hydra. "Hi there! You can call me Morty." she said cheerfully.
