The man chuckled. "It was around here. I don't see it, so someone else must have found it or it wandered off. Oh well." Flish grinned and returned to the road. "It would have been nice to use as a pack animal." The man had a twig stuck in one of his braids now from his short jaunt into the brush, and some fresh, moist dirt clung to his boots.

She nodded. "I travel light for that reason." She patted the masterwork rapier at her side. She did not have to draw it just yet, fortunately. She wasn't the best with the blade, preferring to use magic and wit to avoid combat situations. It wasn't because she was a pacifist. She was simply afraid of getting hurt. She found herself using diplomacy more than steel in hostile situations, and most of the time it worked. She walked over and pulled the twig out of his braid. She knew that eventually that thing would start to bother her, so she got rid of it before it did.

The man chuckled at her comment about packing light. "I pack pretty light myself, though there are times when I happen to find things I simply cannot walk away from." he told her with a smirk.

Feeling her touch his hair, he tried to look. His eyes fell onto the twig, and he laughed. "Thank you."

She chuckled. "That's when a bag of holding really comes in handy." She patted the satchel on her back. She kept everything in that bag, except her rapier and fiddle. "So... we can't find the camel. Should we continue going to wherever we have to go?"

"Definitely. The camel was merely curiosity. I think the monk took it." The man chuckled. Inwardly, he was cursing the camel's very existence. Damned creature... He had wanted something to carry his things. Oh well, he would buy a bag of holding or find one eventually.

Ana-Lii shrugged. "Well, let's continue onwards! If you need any help carrying things, I still have a lot of room in this!" She placed a hand on her bag. It was only half-full because she did her best to travel light.

((aargh! Apologies for such a short post!))

The man nodded. "I'm fine on carrying things, I just have certain lazy preferences." he told her in a dignified voice, a cocky smirk forming on his face. Flish chuckled in amusement at himself.

(( Sorry for my own short post. D8 ))

Vorelmiirik sniffed, trying to pick up the scent of the missing camel. He wasn't exactly sure what a camel smelled like, so he didn't get very far. Shrugging, he looked up at Ana-Lii. "So... are we continuing onwards?" He cocked his head sideways. He tended to get bored if he stood still for too long.

"Yes, we're going to be heading off." She looked down at the dragon, and then back at her guide. "So... shall we continue?"

The man nodded and flipped his braids over his shoulder to get them out of his way. "Onwards, to the ever-shitty town of the piss-water beer and house-looting hooligans! They better have left my skeleton in my house." He grumbled the last sentence as almost a death threat against the town.

Ana-Lii chuckled, deciding not to ask about the skeleton. She had been in towns like that before. In fact, she made some of her best non-performance money in those towns playing cards with the various lowlifes. "Very well then, on we go!"

The sound of this new town made Vorelmiirik a little nervous. He wasn't as used to traveling to such seedy places, but he knew a good line of acid breath would set most hooligans straight immediately. He still couldn't shake the feeling that something very strange would happen in the town. He had to be constantly on guard the moment he got there.

Flish hummed a bit of the way, then eased off, his humming trying on the ears of most. He was far from being a bard in level of musical talent. Absently, he wondered aloud if anyone there would recognize him.

(( Augh, I'm being so fail today. ))

((Well, after this post, we can fast-forward to the town or anywhere else you thought would be good to head off to))

Vorelmiirik's head perked up at the sound of Flish's humming. At least it wasn't horribly off-key. Most people didn't know this, but being truly tone deaf was just as rare as having perfect pitch.
