Winter Solstice Roleplay '09! - UPDATE: 1st post

[I walk with Time]

Luna stood up from her hiding spot in the snow and walked beside him and the male Ice Dragon who was supporting him. She stood up in human form and didn't look at him, but said, "I still never meant for you to get hurt."

[Miyani-chan]

"Then it's alright," He said, nodding to her slightly. Minh didn't turn to face her either, because he was more focused on to getting to an inn soon.

[I walk with Time]

Luna had to chuckled at his pain.
"I can heal that for you if need be!" Luna offered.

AJ wakes up late and refreshed from her sleep. She notices that Diva is up and at the cave entrance looking up, like she deep in though. Diva hears AJ move around and looks at her. "Good morning." Diva says. "Morning." AJ answers.

After getting up and ready for the day, AJ tells Diva she going to the city first to get want she needs. She grabs a heavy hooded cloak and wraps it around herself, bringing up to the hood to hide her face. As she walks out of the cave she turns to Diva. "Do you want to come with me?" AJ asks. Diva replies, "Yes." So they both head out to the city. They both don't say anything as they journey to the city. As they get close, Diva breaks the silence, "AJ, I need to be hidden." AJ looks at her confused, "Why and how?" "I'll explain later. I need to be come a tattoo." Diva replied. "Oh ok." AJ answers. She watches as Diva vanishes and then feels a warmth on her back realizing that it is Diva. Once that settled, AJ continues to the city.

Upon entering the city, AJ heads to the clothing place. There she looks at warmer clothing, finally deciding on 2 tops and a new pair of jeans. Pays for her purchases and heads out of the store to another one. The next one is where she can get herbs for healing and magic. After finding what she wants and paying for it she heads off to two more stores. One is a food store where she buys non perishable foods and herbs, the other is an art store where she buys a few things and asks if there is a gallery in the city and is told yes and where it is. She heads to the gallery. There she finds who is in charge, asking them if they are interested in buying some new art work. She is ask to show them what she has. AJ pulls out 4 finished pieces of art. The gentleman, whom she finds out later is the owner, is amazed and impressed with the pieces and offers her a good price for them. She accepts the offer thinking that will be enough for awhile. Thanking the owner, she heads out. Deciding to get something to eat, she enters an inn that she's passed by before.

She reaches the desk and the attendant asks "How was the room?" She looks at him, "What room?" The attendant looks confused, "The room you rented last night." "I don't rented one last night. I haven't been in the city for couple days." "I rented a room to someone who looked just like you, then." the attendant says. "Crap." AJ says before turning around and walking out the doors with the attendant looking dumbfounded about just happened.

AJ finally finds a place to eat. There she orders small cup of soup with a platter of veggies and fish. After eating she decides to walk around the city alittle more, take in the sights and see if she knows anyone.

Kanna woke up, exiting to get out into the snow again.
She jumped out of her bad, and against her natural morning ritual quickly putted on some clothes, not even washing her face or brushing her teeth.
She was too exited!
She ran downstairs where her mother was making breakfast. Deciding it was better not to have her mom notice her she didn't say a word when her hand reached for the backdoor.
"Kanna!" her mother shouted. Oh Darn! Kanna thought. I got caught.
"Don't think of going out in the freezing cold without having eaten breakfast!" her mother told her, as she slid some baked eggs and bacon from the frying pan onto a plate. "Eat up!" she said.
Kanna sighed, and put on a little smile. She wasn't hungry at all, but she appreciated that her mother took so good care of her and that they never had to be hungry or anything. What a fortunate life she had.

[Maeve]

Maeve watched over Irenia for a while, not realizing how much time had passed. It was a bit strange for her, the overly long night and short day. At least her room was comfortable and offered a couple of bedside lights, which she found pretty useful. She was busy searching through her notes, periodically taking a look at Irenia to see how she was going, when a growl from her stomach brought her back to reality.

As always, she thought, getting up and stretching. It seemed like she always forgot to stop and eat, until she was starving. She foraged through her bag, finding the box of cinnamon rolls. Those would do, but she needed something to drink to. She sighed and exited the room, headed for the counter and asked a mug of hot cocoa. She didn't want to be absent for too log, in case Irenia woke up.

"So, how's your friend doing?" the bartender asked, sending a waitress to the kitchen to fetch the girl's order. "She's asleep," Maeve answered, not really knowing what to say. After all, she really had not idea of how Irenia was doing. The man smiled, handing her the hot mug the waitress had just brought. She thanked them and she returned to her room. Closing the door behind her, she went back to the bed, sitting and looking at Irenia.

The brunette took a sip of cocoa and reached her hand to grab one of the cinnamon rolls. She took a bite, wondering if there was anything she could do to help the other girl. Not much, except wait and watch over her. She sighed, finishing her meal, and sat back in her usual position. She grabbed her notebook and resumed her reading.

A couple hours later, someone knocked at the door. Maeve got up, a bit surprise, and headed to open the door. The young ice dragon waiter she had met the day before was there, a platter of food in his hands. "We thought you would prefer to stay with her," he said with a soft voice. He moved around her and entered the room, placing the platter on the small table beside the window. He then exited the room.

"Thanks," Maeve said as he passed by her, still a bit surprise. "No problem," the young man said with a smile. "If you need anything, just ask." He then turned his back and headed downstairs. The woman smiled and closed the door. She moved to the table and looked at the platter. Fresh bread, various meats, soups and pie. She took a piece of bread and sat down on Irenia's bed, right beside her.

"Do you want anything?" she asked, wondering if the other could hear her. She felt a bit bad, having a nice warm meal and letting the other in whatever state she had managed to get. The sleep spell should have ended a while ago, she thought, getting up and sitting at the table. She ate quickly, but not a lot. and returned to her watch.

Maya sighed again, she still hadn't found her bodyguard. She decide she would go off and find him, and then maybe she wouldn't be so bored, in this place.

"Healing...?" He slowly asked. Minh had a feeling she would use magic, and he wasn't really fond of that. He kept his curious expression on his face, though. Minh turned to Duro and looked at him.
"Do you think I should...?" He asked him, wondering about his opinion on this matter.

[Sev en Ester]

Seven stopped where he stood, a fresh trail in the snow behind him. He stretched his arms over his head and released a quick chuckle when he heard several joints crack. He had several travel pouches all over, and an aging pack on his back with all his materials and belongings in.

It felt so wonderful to be up north again! Seven had even been able to stop by his home for the first time in a few years. There had been a been a business boom there and all seemed prosperous so he'd gladly accepted the fresh fruits and preserves from his parents and even more so the lovely designs his father urged him to take. Seven Sr. was too old to tailor himself, so he'd long since handed the mantle over to Seven Jr.

Seven couldn't hold back the urge to twirl at the very thought of the beautiful sketches his father had given him, dancing as lightly as a man in his mid twenties could anyway...

His trek through the city outskirts were nearing to an end, though there were plenty of boulders and a bit of a climb left, he could see the city just a few miles away. Seven set off, humming a few popular songs he'd heard back home from his old friends.

Rhee huffed the food had been eaten by others. she left the ballroom not wanting to engage in an akward dance verbal or physical with someone. She sighed as the cold air crassed her fur, much better then the warm ballroom, she shot the building a dirty glance. The floors had been so smooth she had to be very careful in her steps, she felt like a fool out there on the dance floor.

outside was better, cobblestones or not anything beasides maybe ice was better then the ballroom floor. Excited to walk normally, Rhee reared up and lunged through the snow making her way away from the city and into the snow.

[Duro Lavoro]

Duro stopped at the other presence, turning to Minh. "If you trust her, then it's fine." He said with a curious expression. He didn't know the girl, but he did know that she hurt the boy, but she seemed sincere.

[Sev en Ester]

Light snow flakes began to fall and Seven stopped his humming to stick his tongue out to catch a few. The cold felt nice. Suede boots stepped on the previous snow's remains, a few feet he supposed, and marched onward to the city. He could barely make it out but he swore he saw something, dare he say it, swimming in the snow a ways off.

[Eimara Hielo]

Eimara stared at the girl in bewilderment. "Uh... Minh?" She clasped her hands together at her chest. "We can get you a doctor, you know. And I'm sure they could use magic on your knee too. This person hurt you so..." She frowned. She looked like she wanted to say something, but shook her head, ceasing whatever thoughts they were. "We can take care of it."

Luna noticed the tone in his voice, he didn't want her help. "If you don't want my help, then you'll just be in pain longer..." Luna said.

Seven felt his air in his lungs disappear as he finally climbed over the rocks. The city looked absolutely beautiful as he got closer, the serenity of it fell over him like a warm dream...
