Ello everyone
My name is Ashleigh and I am new to Midorea
I have just started but
I have no Idea what I am doing... can someone please help me >.
my character has nothing, no clothes, no fighting gear nu da , absolutley nothing

Hi there Ashleigh, I'm Ashley!! Hurp derp. :B Welcome to Midorea!

Anyway, let me try to address your questions/comments here.

Your avatar screen can be found on the "Avatar" tab up at the top pf the page. There you will find several screens (basic base colors, facial features, hair, and starter clothes) to assemble your avatar. More items can be purchased later from the shops when you've got a bit of silver.

Weapons and fighting gear can be purchased from the Weaponsmith if you so choose (found under the "Shops" tab.) However, the quickest way to get silver at this early stage is to chat in the forums; all forums but the game forum (which gives you copper) will give you some silver for posting. If you do choose to try the battle system out, I would recomend buying a volleyball from the weaponsmith. They're only 5 silver apiece and a pretty dependable begining weapon. The "Newbie" shop in the shop section also has some things you can purchase for copper if you want to check that out; I honestly wouldn't suggest that though, as it takes awhile to earn copper and there's not a lot in there that'll be any more help to you than just buying a cheap weapon and giving the battle system your best shot, IMO.

Also, be sure to check out the FAQ and the wonderful Maeve's Newcomer's Help Center for some more useful advice. Anything else you may want to know, just ask! This forum can be a bit slow at times, but we're a friendly bunch and more often than not, someone will be on to answer questions and point you in the right direction.

Welcome to Midorea, Ashleigh!

Well, technically, your avatar should at least have some loin clothes and underwear. It's not great, but it's... something.
Just go to your avatar page. The basic "body" features are under their respective tabs (eyes, nose, etc.). The starter clothes are located in the Top, Bottom, and Under Top/Bottom tabs. Just wait for the whole thing to load (shouldn't take much time), then select what you want and save.

You can check MAD, our dream avatar creator, to see what items are available here. A few things will be hard to find (old monthly items, etc.), but most of the shop items are affordable if you're active around the site, and they're nice enough to make interesting avatar. ^^

For battling gear, you only really need a weapon. And you can get a cheap one, called a volleyball, for 5 silver at the weaponsmith. It's... not that good, but at least it'll allow you to hit your opponent, and it lasts a while. When you get more money, and if you feel like it/want to battle more, I'd suggest going for a tenro or some strong past event weapon.

I just had to introduce myself as "Ashley" 'cause our names are similar and I'm a dork like that. xD; (Note: I don't mind being called "Ashley" either, if you prefer.
