| Brown hair, shorn roughly, moved in the wind. It was freezing. Only a skirt made of rags, rags tied around her feet, and a showy vest that was too big for her protected her, along with some bandages around her forehead. A watch on her wrist seemed to have many functions, and a pince-nez seemed to have none.
Quietly, she checked her watch. Ok, time to strike was now, at closing time... She slipped into the gas station as someone left, leaving the bell to only ring once. Quickly, she hid, ready to move should someone look. She was certain that the clerk was talking to someone over the system to allow talking between gas pump and clerk. Silently, she waited. The bulletproof glass wasn't going to be an issue. Not with her specialized gun.

| Evelyn looked at her watch. It was late - almost closing time. She gave a fleeting glance toward the guy at the till. He'd probably start hassling her to leave in a minute, she thought. Regardless, she continued to move idly along the aisle of magazines.
She was a small, frail looking thing. Not nearly as frail as her mother looked lately though, who was at home just a few streets away with a raging fever. The 12 year old had been sent to buy milk and bread, since her father was away tonight, on "business", whatever that meant.
The loaf of bread tucked under one arm, and the icy cold bottle of milk in hand, her free hand raised subconsciously to her mouth as she browsed the magazines, and she began chewing at the skin on her fingertips as her eyes took in all the brightly coloured covers. She was completely oblivious that the girl dressed in rags had entered the shop, and even less aware that anything out of the ordinary might be about to happen.

| The teenaged girl watched the cashier, eyes narrowed. Why wasn't he hassling that girl at the magazines? Little thing, she was. No problem. She had some extra strength in case the girl tried tackling her to be a hero. Slowly, she slid around. She would act now. She could always shoot anyone who tried to get in... Her plan ran through her head as she aimed her strange gun at the panel of bulletproof glass.
ZAP! There was a hole burnt through it, and through the man's chest. It was burnt shut, so no blood spray. It sounded like a light or something had shorted out or something. "Hey kid, you might wanna grab anything you want and get the hell out." the teen called. "Cashier just died." the man slumped and fell. "Heart failure, tragic. He seems to have lost his heart."
The brown girl smirked. The little skinny thing on the other side of the rack would either rush to the man's aid, see the burn hole and grab things, leave without grabbing things after checking him out, or check him out and try to be a hero... if she guessed right. There was so much guessing involved in dealing with people.

| The moment she was referred to as 'kid', she grew angry. "Kid has a name!" She said crossly, but then her anger subsided at the sudden CRACK of what sounded like a lightbulb bursting. She jumped a little, but looking up she saw perfectly well that the lights were just fine. She turned, mouth open slightly and saw the smoking hole in the glass.
She dumped the groceries on the floor and rushed to the bulletproof glass, her small hands pressed against it - as well as her face - as she stared down at the till boy's body. Her eyebrows raised when she realised he was, most definitely, dead. But her surprise was more at the wound that had killed him.
She whipped around to face the girl, eyebrows still raised in shock - but the heavy weight of the horror of seeing a dead body had quickly been replaced by another feeling - curiosity.
"What the hell kind of gun IS that?!" She shouted, her voice a little shrieky. But somehow she didn't seem nearly as afraid as she should be.

| "Ever seen Star Wars?" the teen asked, slightly annoyed. "Anyways, I don't know your name, and don't want to. I have a place to rob... I'm offering you a chance to grab what you want before I bomb the place when I'm done." With that, the teen used her gun to blast the door to the area behind the desk open by blowing the handle off and simply pushing it open.
Quick hands opened the register before grabbing all of the monetary contents and shoving them into one of the paper bags usually reserved for alcohol. She placed some plastic bags on the turnabout used for checkout and turned it so that the other female could use them, then grabbed some bags for herself. Everything behind the counter that was labeled as hard cider went into her bags before she walked out to the front and grabbed some ice creams, some bread, and some necessities.

| The girl frowned. "No," she said shortly - Star Wars was some stupid boys' film, as far as she cared. She wasn't exactly sure how a movie was supposed to explain something in the real world, anyway.
Her stern stare followed the older girl, watching her every move intently, until she spoke up again as the teen was packing her bags; "Why would you want to blow up a petrol station?" she asked, her arms folded as she stepped towards the pile of carrier bags.
She grabbed a couple of them and picked up her milk and bread from before, placing them into one of the bags. Then she started grabbing magazines, confectionary and snuck in a few bottles of various alcoholic drinks - she had never tried it before, and she doubted she'd get another chance to come by any of the stuff any time soon.
The bags relatively full, she paced quickly and quietly after this most bizarre stranger, and stepping outside, she glanced at the stand filled with bouquets of flowers. She shrugged to herself, grabbed the prettiest one she saw and stuffed it into the less-full of the two bags. Then she looked up at the girl and cocked her head to one side, "Besides... what makes you think I'm not going to tell anyone about you? You don't exactly blend in, do you?" she smirked slightly, thinking she was being much smarter than she in fact was.
"You'd be a pretty easy description for the police to follow...."

| The girl laughed. "I'm bombing the place to make a name. That all you want?" she asked, handing over a few bills before pausing. "This is waaay too little to be all of their money. Need more bags?" she asked, going back in and getting more.
"Anyways, I asked about star wars because they have blaster guns like mine, but mine is real, not like theirs. Nobody else has one." The brown-haired girl started to check around for more money. There had to be a safe or something. "Is there a safe? I know gas stations have more money than this."
(( Sorry for the shortness, I had a sudden case of the "Durr..." ))

| The small child blinked in confusion as the notes were pressed into her hands, she stared down at them for a second and then looked up at the stranger again, "you mean you want people to know it was you that did this...?" she asked, and putting the bags down she followed the teen back inside.
She started browsing with another couple of bags, taking whatever she took an instant fancy too - more food and drinks, make-up, a few cheap movies, an umbrella... petrol stations sold the strangest assortment of things. While she was casually emptying shelves, she spoke loudly so that she could be heard on the other side of the shop, "The safe would probably be in a room next to the staff room, out the back... shops have this little room where they keep the till drawers over night, and the safe I guess...." her voice trailed off slightly, as though she were not entirely paying attention.
[[No worries, I avoided posting again last night cos of the same thing XD]]

| "Thanks!" Called the teen as she carefully blasted the knob off the door, but didn't shoot in. She used her fingers to manipulate the mechanism and open the door. "Need any more money?" the girl called. "Safe's here." Carefully, she blasted two corners off of the safe, then another two so that she could simply life the top off. Inside were some stacks of money, which she loaded into her bags. Looking around the room, she blasted the security tape recorders in there. She would leave a clue to her identity. Why bother get that girl involved any more than she was, anyways?
Emerging from the back room, she grabbed a few snack foods for her bags, then paused. "Eh, it'd probably have more of an impact if I don't blow the place up." she muttered. "After all, I'm the only person with a blaster gun."

| Done with her five-finger-discount shopping, she walked silently across the shop floor and followed the sound of the strange gunshots to find the teen again, breaking into the safe. She looked around the room; dark, empty, and plainly decorated.
"Sure..." she said to the offer of more money, and held out the bags so the money could be placed straight in them.
Following the older girl back onto the shop floor, she then stepped ahead of her and went outside again, picking up the other bags she'd left there before with a great effort - she was rather small after all, and the ammount of stolen goods was great. "I'll say..." she almost laughed, but then paused, before adding, "How did you get here anyway? Or... how are you getting away?"
She stepped backwards a few paces, looking from the stranger to the windows of the shop.
The lights were still on.
"You should probably turn those off..." she nodded in the direction of the brightly lit windows.

| The girl grinned and added more bills to the other girl's bag, then exited the gas station as well. "Nah, leave em on. I want people to know it was stolen from." She glanced at the girl. "Hey, you need a ride home?" she asked suddenly. This girl didn't seem half bad. At least she wasn't playing hero. Probably the fact the small girl had seen someone dead was going to set in soon, so hurrying would be a good idea. A very good idea.
(( Sorry it's so short, I'm a distracted by another site where there's an event, and it's frying my brain some, but I still really wanna roleplay here. XD ))
