CALL TO ARMS!

Welcome to the guild comrades! We are an organization that strives to do one thing, to uphold peace and order in any way possible. Soldiers by nature, this is a safe haven for traveling warriors of all sorts, so please come inside, and see what we're all about. We're always accepting new members, and we hope that you will join us some time in the near future.

Purpose

Our main purpose, first and foremost is to protect others. Jobs come in and we will dispatch warriors to handle them. Whether it be to exterminate a monster that's been attacking a village, tracking down a roaming group of bandits, or even facing off with rogue swordsmen who make a sport out of slaying bounty hunters. We are first and foremost, bounty hunters, however, that does not give us the right to kill mindlessly. Those of our ranks must first and foremost adhere to our code of honor, any who fail to uphold this will be tried before a disciplinary committee, and actions will then be taken to deal with their offenses.

The Code!
All of our hunters must adhere to the following Rules when in the field.
1. we do not harm the innocent. We are to avoid civilian casualties at all costs, this includes needless destruction of property through the use of explosives, or other devices.

2. When taking higher level hunts you must first be certified to do so by a qualified member of the guild. Without the proper license you will not be able to participate in these events.

3. Qualification exams for high level hunts can be requested at any time. Train hard, and prepare yourselves for the task ahead of you, these are designed to test a hunter to the very limits of their physical abilities. They are by no means meant to be easy.

4. Special requests - Sometimes a special order will come from guild leaders. These are a good way to earn favor, and make a name for yourself.

5. Supplies, and equipment- Members are responsible for preparing for the job. We will not always have supplies for you to use, or sometimes will simply give you the money and rely on you to prepare accordingly. Each hunter is required however, to have at least a weapon at all times. Should your weapon break on the job it is up to the hunter either to seek out a repair shop, or repair it themselves.

And finally, one of the most important points. Fight with all of your strength! just because a job seems easy doesn't give you the right to just decide it's not worth giving it your all. We do not want people to think that we're just a merry band of idiots that want to make a spectacle of ourselves. keep this in mind and you will do just fine.

Forum Rules
Okay these are different from the Hunter's Code. All members, whether they are hunters or not, must abide by these rules or they will be banned from the forum.
1. Harassment- there is a fine line between joking and downright insulting somebody. If i find that you have crossed this line a warning will be given. If these actions continue you will be asked to leave.

2. Language - We all know this one, you follow the basic rules posted on teh forums. If you dont want to, that's your problem, around here we do so. I understand a slip up every now and again, but please, try to control yourselves. I don't want the admins cracking down on us people.

3. Spamming! - if you're going to post here at least try to socialize with some of the members, and things of that nature. if you're just popping in to post a link and ask us to visit your group or forum or whatever, you are not welcome here. If you wish to work with our group, or work together to do some advertising you may come to me with a formal request of some kind.

4. Fighting - i don't mind violence on the forums, but please note. I do not enjoy godmoding, if i feel that you are not fighting fairly i will intervene. Also, you are not allowed to kill off other players unless they give you permission to do so. If they choose to let their characters die then so be it, but I will not have you decide to just randomly kill them off without their consent.

5. Have fun- This is of course a social group as much as it is roleplaying. Please feel free to come in, chat for a while, and just have a good time. I'm not so heartless that i won't allow you to goof around a little bit. I'll leave it up to my members to decide what they want to do, how they want to act and things of that nature, as long as you follow our rules then I'm happy with that.

It was a relatively quiet day as Squall walked out the front door of the manor making his way out towards the garage. He'd converted his home into a base of operations for his little organization, offering boarding to traveling warriors, converting the basement into a small armory and even building a training grounds, workshop, and a garage to store vehicles. Making his way out to the garage he made his way over to the massive airship near the back of the hangar, his pride and joy. He'd spent years working on that thing and it was finally finished. All he had to do was find a paint job for her and she'd be ready for her first flight.

((Since we're starting this out, is it alright if we know each other right away?))

Artemis sighed. It was good to be near the home base after a rather long and difficult mission. Her bow was slung across her back and her bowie knife was holstered at her hip. Her long black hair was tied into a bunch of small braids that were kept together in a ponytail. She REALLY liked her hair out of the way. Her clothing was simple- a black tee shirt and a pair of loose camoflauge cargo pants with some brown hiking boots.

Coming up behind Squall, she looked up at the airship, whistling. "It's looking good."

He glanced back at her smiling a bit. "well I've had quite a bit of time to work on it between missions." He smiled some and got his tool kit doing a little bit of basic maintenance making sure everything was running. "Axion, i need a full diagnostic on all the running systems," He spoke to the computer on board the ship glancing at Artemis. "So what do you have in mind for your time off? Actually going to take it easy for a change?" He smiled a bit as a computerized voice rang out.

"All systems are fully operational sir. Hello Miss Artemis, it's nice to see you again. I trust your recent assignment went well."

"The dragon was a little harder than I expected, but I took 'im down eventually." She grinned. She was a huntress, after all. She specialized in taking down tough monsters, accepting those missions over ones dealing with humans any day. "And yeah, I'm thinking of relaxing for a bit." She rolled her shoulder. "I think I pulled something, so it might be best to not do anything too rough for a while." She rolled her neck, taking her bow and quiver off of her shoulders and putting it on the table.

"haven't had many calls for anything more than that really. just a few nasty beasties. I figured that's the kind of thing you enjoy doing so, why not let you cut loose a little bit. I've been looking into a few things, and there's a chance we might have something a little bigger coming our way. Word is that a small drug cartel's been shaking down a little town not too far from here. If the job comes through we'll be sent in to show them what we do to fools who decide to prey on the innocent."

Artemis brightened up. "Well, then! I'll get some rest for a day or so and see what has to be done!" While Art loved her R&R, she loved being up and about so much more. "And a drug cartel, eh? If you need an extra hand, I'll be willing to take 'em on. Not my usual cup of tea, but hey, everybody needs a change of pace now and then."

She sat down on a nearby armchair, moving her shoulders around a bit to see how much her back hurt. It wasn't too bad, but she figured it would be better to relax rather than strain it until it actually became a serious problem. She had that happen before, and she was out of commission for about a week.

"Just take it easy for a couple of days i'll figure out what's going on and get us ready to go. Axion I'm going to need you to run a few simple diagnostics, and repair functions. I've got a few calls i need to make you think you can handle this on your own?"

"Affirmative sir. I'll have her ready by morning."

Squall looked at Artemis with a soft smile. "take the day off, get some rest. I'll want you at your best when this thing goes down alright?"

"Yes sir!" Artemis grinned. It was at that moment she heard her stomach start to growl. Sighing, she made her way to the kitchen and opened the fridge. There wasn't much in there- a few cans of soda, assorted lunchmeats, a half-loaf of bread, a few to-go boxes from various chinese restaurants, and a bottle of ketchup. After staring at the meager display, she grabbed some of the lunchmeat and two slices of bread and quickly fashioned herself a sandwich.

"You're gonna need to stock up on food in case more people get here!" She shouted to Squall with a mouth full of bologna. She plonked right back on the chair.

"I've been meaning to order some supplies. We have some cookies and stuff in the cupboard if you want." he smiled a bit and brushed his hair out of his face standing up and picking up his phone checking his messages. He'd gotten a call from one of their suppliers a couple of hours ago.

"Squall it's Marty. We've got your order in and we'll be sending it in your way, you'll have it this weekend i think."

Squall listened to the message and he closed his eyes sighing. "Leave it to Marty to come through in a pinch."
