Kai walked into the school, looking around. It looked quite big to him. Then again he had just come froma small town. He had hated to leave, but a boy that never ages would get suspicous after a while. So he had faked and said his parents were moving, and off he went. He wondered how long he'd be able to keep his secret at this school.

She took her hat off as she went through the halls, heading to her locker. She had at least twenty more minutes before the beel would ring and she would have to get to first period.
As she walked the halls she heard a few girls whispering something about a new student, 'Hmm, interesting,' she thought as she rounded the corner, 'wonder who it could be. Wonder what they're like,' her locker was just down this hall.
"A boy? A girl?" she mumbled as she opened her locker after fiddling with the lock for a bit. She placed her hat inside.
Sarah was very curious about this new person because, well, she liked to meet new people, but in this town it wasn't so hard to do that anyway. The town of Dotur was pretty big, and she wanted to see a new face, all she really had to do was walk out the front doors of the school.
Sarah started to hum a little to herself as she placed her bag inside.
"Sarah!" Someone yelled as they banged the locker beside her, causing her to jump at least five feet up, or so it felt like to her.
"Greg!" She turned to him, angered a little, "Don't do that!"
He laughed, "Sorry Sarah, but come on, that was funny."
"No, it wasn't," she stated, returning her attention to trying to get her binder from in her locker.
"Aww, come on, don't be like that, plus, I have some information on that new kid that everyone's been talking about."
"Oh? Really? Like what?" She said, still not looking at him, but instead acting like she was organizing her already clean locker.
"Well, he's new to the town, his name is Kai, annnd, well..."
"What?"
"Nah, you don't wanna know."
"Tell me," Sarah said, closing her locker finally and looking at Greg.
"He's kinda weird Sarah, or so they say. Just, steer clear of him, ok? The guy gives me bad vibes."
"Bad vibes huh?" She laughed, "Who are you to tell me who and who I can not be around anyway, Greg?"
"What? I'm warning you Sarah, just stay away from him, please, trust me on this."
Sarah gave him a funny look and then shook her head, "Your crazy Greg, really." and then she started to walk away, with Greg, calling out to her to be careful around the new kid.

Kai sighed walking to the office. He could tell that no one here was going to be friendly. Which he didn't mind exactly, he was pretty used to it, but it still hurt some. He got his locker number and headed there. Once he reached his locker he began putting his stuff up. His first class was English. Which he knew was gonna be a breeze. Actually all of his classes were. He'd been alive so long, and the lessons had never really changed over the years. Once he got his stuff, he began heading to his first class.

'Kai, Kai,' Sarah thought, walking to her class. She was usually the first person to arrive there too, it was english with Mr. Lambert. She really enjoyed english, and she found Mr. Lambert to be a pretty ok guy.
'I wonder what he looks like,' she thought as she entered through the classroom door. "Hello Mr. Lambert," Sarah said to her teacher with a smile, he returned the smile and gave a wave, he was in the middle of writting something on the board. "Mr. Lambert, did you hear about the new student?"
"Hmm?" He said, still writing, "Oh! Yes, yes, the new student. I've heard about him, he's actually joining the class today."
"What? Really?"
"Yep. Right in this class, with you, Ms. Tipen."
"Oh, I see," she said. Mr. Lambert went back to writing something on the board. 'Ah, well so much for Greg wanting me to avoid the new kid,' she smiled to herself.

[Kairie]

Kai walked down the hall, feeling the kids staring at him. It was actually pretty annoying, but he ignored it, as everything else he had gotten used to it. He reached the classroom quite early. He saw there was a girl there already, and the teacher. He was tempted to say hi to the girl but decided against it. He headed to a desk in the back and sat down, plopping his books down with him.

A boy walked into the room, one she'd never seen before. 'Kai?' She watched him as he went and sat in the far back. She knew it had to be him, obviously, because she had never seen him before. She wanted to say hi, but the bell rang, and that somewhat made her lose her confidence.
Sarah sighed and watched as Mr. Lambert finished writing on the board and other students started to come in, each looking back at Kai, a little surprised to see him here.

Kai looked down, doodling on a page. He was getting annoyed at the stares as people walked in. He had a page full soon. Then finally the late bell rang and he was glad for it. He ran a hand through his hair and looked at the teacher, seeing what they would be learning today.

The class held a little hum as the kids all spoke to one another, and Sarah looked at her friend who had just poked her in the siide.
"Hey, Sarah, it's that new kid," she whispered to her.
"Yea, I realized," Sarah said to her, "I don't get what everyone's deal is Ash, he seems just fine to me."
"What? No, well, ok, I guess he looks ok," Ashley snuck a quick peek back at him and then returned her look back to Sarah, "But, it's weird, I don't know, he just, doesn't really fit. Look at him, even his posture doesn't look like a normal teens posture."
Sarah gave her an 'are you kidding me?' look, "Seriously? I think you guys are all nuts, you're all scared of a little change, he looks just fine."
Ashley narrowed her eyes at Sarah, "Ugh, it's hard to explain, but everyone else gets a weird feeling about this kid, why don't you?"
Sarah was hesitant to answer this question, "B-because, there isn't a weird vibe, it's in all of your closed-minded brains," she said defensively. Truth was, Sarah actually did get an awfully weird vibe from this kid, but she kept trying to brush it off and said it was nothing, he looked and seemed perfectly fine, a little quiet, but that's to be expected of new students, right?
"Yea? W-"
"Students, quiet down," Mr. Lambert said, interrupting Ashley's sentence, "We have a new student here today," he said smiling at Kai, "Well, Kai, would you like to introduce yourself to the class? Tell us a little about yourself? Hmm?"
All the students turned to look at Kai and see what he would say.

[Kairie]

Kai heard his name and looked up. Another reason why he hated switching schools. Introductions. "Sure Mr.Lambert." He said standing up. "My name is Kai Chancler, I've moved around a lot, I'm into long hikes in the woods, and I am really enjoying this school so far." He said sitting down.

[kiroro]

"Oh, ok, Thank you, Kai," Mr. Lambert said. The students started to giggle a little, "Now, class, stop, please."
"What was so funny?" Sarah asked Ashley, not finding anything really funny.
Ashley shrugged, a smile on her face, "I guess they just liked his introduction?" She gave a little giggle.
"Stop it Ash," Sarah said, waving air into her face, acting as if to slap her.
"Haha, sorry, sorry, really. I guess I'm just kinda relieved. He sure does sound like an average guy with his short intro and all," Ash smirked, "but still, he's weird. Where do you think he's travelled?"
Sarah shrugged, " A lot?" was all she could say before Mr. Lambert began to teach the class their lesson as the giggling died down.

[Kairie]

Kai ignored the giggling. He had what they would never have, nor could have. And that was immortality. He grinned slightly to himself. Ignoring what Mr. Lambert was saying, he began thinking of where he would feed. He'd need blood within the next few days. With a big town though it would be easier to cover up the disappearances.

Sarah looked back at Kai one more time, he seemed to not really be paying attention to the lesson. Well, that wasn't very smart on the first day, but it's ok, his fault if he didn't get what was going on later. Maybe she would help him out if he needed it?
She turned back to Mr. Lambert.


"Yesh, free!" Ashley said, coming out the classroom, it was now after third period, and lucky for Ash and Sar, they had three periods together, one, third, and fifth, and then lunch together, which was now. "Ah, I really hate math," she complained.
Sarah laughed, "I know you do, that's why I'm always helping you with it," Sarah poked her, "Now come on, lets hurry before all the food gets taken."
"Oh yes! The munches await us!" Ash said excitedly and they made their way to the cafeteria.

Kai was already not liking the day. It was boring, and he was being ignored, laughed at, or getting dirty looks from people he didn't even know, or care to know. He headed to the lunchroom, looking around, finding a table that was empty sat down. He didn't feel like eating the food everyone else did.
