Our story:

The sports star, the one with the good looks, good grades, great car, good family, the right clothes, the right walk, the perfect girlfriend that every guy in school wants, and almost everything else. Guys at his school would kill to be him, even for a day, or for even just a moment to see how it feels. James’ life couldn’t be any better…but it most definitely could get worse.

These are the years where James is to get everything together. Get his head straight, figure out where he wants to go in life, things that an average Senior in High School should be thinking about. So far things are going well, extremely well. Already accepted into his dream college, piles of scholarships, and his basketball career is going fantastically. So, all he needs now is a job. Cool, should be easy.

There’s this one guy at James’ school, his name is Tommy. He’s pretty much the opposite of James. From things dealing with school, to the way he dresses, to who they hang out with, to family matter…to even sexuality. Oh! And Tommy has a job.

Though Tommy isn’t the most perfect guy in the world, he’s having fun and enjoying his life anyway. He’s a good guy, it isn’t as if he’s “trouble at first sight,” or people “run in fear of him,” Tommy’s just, a little more average than James.

James finally finds a job, and it’s where Tommy works. Interesting. After getting to know each other a little better, other than just knowing they go to the same school, strange things start to happen. No way Tommy could possibly be hitting on James. No way could James possibly be questioning himself! And, over sexuality of all things…so what will happen? Will James find out something new about himself? Will Tommy just leave James be?

Name: Keri Clark
Title: The Secretive Girlfriend.
Info: Keri is James' little seemingly perfect girlfriend. Every guy in school wants her, that's because every guy has had a taste of her. Literally and figuratively. On the outside she's everything James has ever wanted, beautiful, smart, funny, everything, but on the inside, the parts he can't see, she's totally the opposite. Keri has cheated and gone behind James' back several times, with several boys.

She is the bad one, and likes to keep James on a tight leash. She goes out and does what she likes, but she likes to keep a close eye on James to make sure he isn't doing the same. She has to keep her little Jamie-poo clean, right? And no one cheats on Keri as long as she has anything to say about it, just as no one breaks up with her either. She gets what she wants, and gets it how she wants.

Name: Todd Lovette
Title: The "Best Friend"
Info: Todd is James' "best friend," him and James have practically grown up together, they're like brothers, and they're tight, tighter than an air-tight seal, and they tell each other everything and anything... well, almost. Todd, at James' school is the love machine, he gets pretty much any girl he wants with his smooth talk and good looks, so everyone was surprised to her Keri had fallen for James and not Todd. Or had she? There's one secret Todd will never tell James, for the sake of their friendship, maybe one day he will confess.

Though there is this one secret, nothing can really get those two apart.

Info: Michelle has literally known Tommy his entire life. Though a few years older then Tommy, Michelle is still always there for her friend. After a disastrous year away at college, she came home and started attending to local community college. She helped Tommy get his job.

She's sort of a tom-boy and tends to keep to herself, even more so since returning from college. She tends not to bother with societies rules of politeness, she'll just tell you the truth.

"Mmm, what do you think?" He asked while looking at himself in the mirror. He'd just finished with his hair and was a little worried with how he looked, it was his first day on the job after all.
Someone giggled and then wrapped their arms around him from behind, placing their head on his shoulder in an affectionate manner, "I think you look just fine James," she said, smiling at him, having to stand on her tip-toes since he was so much taller than her. She then moved to his side and he smiled at her, "just like everyday."
"You sure?" He sounded unsure, which a bit rare for James Mr. Confident Tober, but he did have his days.
The girl laughed again, "Yes, you knicklehead," she tweaked his nose, "Now hurry up and get dressed," she tugged on the towel wrapped around his waist, "Todd's gonna be here soon."
"You're right, but, before you go," he said gently pulling her back as she was starting to leave the bathroom, "Can I ask you for a favor?'
"And what's that?"
He smiled and then kissed her, and she smiled into it, accepting it. "That's all," he said, ending it with an eskimo kiss, and she giggled, "You knucklehead, go on and get dressed," she said leaving the bathroom now and closing the door behind her, letting James get dressed.

Keri made her way over to the chair on the other side of the room where her purse was. She reached inside and pulled out her cell, seeing that she had one new message. It was from someone she knew at school, and the message read:

'We R Meeting 2nite?'

She replied:

'Yea, @ 8, K? James will still b @ work.'

It took only a minute for the person on the other end to reply back:

'K, CU There.'

She tucked the phone back into her purse and moments later James came out of the bathroom, "Ah, I can't believe it, I got a job," he said, then walked over to his bed and grabbed a t-shirt and put it on.
"Why not? I'm surprised they took so long to hire you, it was obvious that you were the only one for the job."
"You make being a waiter sound pretty glamorous."
There was then a honk outside and Keri took up her bag, "Come on, Todd's here," she said walking out the door, James following behind her.

Tommy glanced over the schedule as he tied his apron around his waist. "NH?" he asked the night manager and his best friend.

"Tony hired someone," she said looking up from her paperwork. "I can't remember the kids name, starts with a J or something like that. Can you take care of him? Damn, Tony hasn't logged an invoice all week!"

Tommy chuckled and shook his head. Michelle was a doll, when she wasn't at work. Then she was a complete monster. Grunting in some sort of agreement, he stepped out onto the floor and grabbed the next order from the floor. He began making pizzas watching for the new hire.

"A job at the parlor, what a lucky boy James is," Todd said as they all drove down the street to Tony's. James' car was off getting fixed up. "So, planning on ever letting us get a few free slices?"
"Ha, right, if I ever plan on quitting my job, sure, I'll give you all you can eat." James joked.
Keri rolled her eyes, "Oh shut up you guys, just go on and drive Todd."
"Ooh, yes ma'am," His eyes met with Keri's in the backsit through the mirror, but then he looked away.

They made it to the parlor soon and they all stepped out. Todd licked his lips, "Ah, you sure we can't get a few free slices now?" He whined.
"He hasn't even officially started his first day you idgit," Keri said, pushing James toward the door, "Now you go and you have a good first day," She smiled at him and James returned the smile. "Ok babe?"
"Yea, ok," he said, walking inside.
"I'm gonna take a smoke," Todd said, and leaned on the hood of his car while lighting his cigarrette that he had just taken out of his pocket.
Keri rolled her eyes and walked over to him, "You've been ignoring me lately," she said. Todd didn't reply, he just waved out the match he used and stuffed his hands in his pockets, looking down the street. "Fine, be that way. I'm going to go and enjoy myself," she said, walking down the street but not before grabbing her purse out of Todd's car.

James walked in and the smell of the place was just to die for. He wondered how much he'd still love the smell after working here for a few days.'Where to go? What to do?' James wondered, walking toward the back to find someone to talk to.
