The poems have been written years ago so they are not quite refined I guess.
I have not written in years, been focusing on my art and college and now finding a job, so maybe now with more time I can write more poems.

At the moment I don't have all my poems where I can find them so I'll added as I find them.

Life

Life can be happy and it can be sad
Life has many meanings to it depending on the person
Life deals you good and bad cards that we need to deal with
Life deals hardships that can make us stronger
Life also deals happy times to give us meaning on our lives.



True Friends

Are there for you when you need them
Know when something is wrong
Know how to get something out of you when you are down
Know how to cheer you up
Don't lie to you and are totally honest with you
Help you with your problems that may need advice on
Also give you advice even if you don't ask for it
And no matter what they like you for who you are
And always remember that no matter what they will be your friends forever.



Loneliness

Is it always like this
Lonely but not alone
Surrounded by people but so alone
How can if feel like this
Its like this blackness has settled
It grows and feels like its consuming me
Is there a way to make it go away
Will it be with me always?

Sisters
Through the years
we have helped each other with
guys, friends, and school
we have given each other advice
about guys to friends to school
we have talked about things that
only sisters can talk about
we tell each other secrets that we
know we can trust each other with
we have become the best of friends
even though we fight and disagree
and as we go our separate ways
we will look back on these days
and once we go what i will miss the
most is talking to you
no matter what we will always be
sisters forever.

Stars
twinkling in the heavenly sky
waiting to be wished upon
willing to make a wish come true

twinkling as a map of the skies
waiting for a future to be told
that has a happy outcome.

I feel like there's an empty place in my heart.
It feels like something is missing that i can't find in me
I think it is love I'm missing
The love of someone else
Who can fill that empty place with love.

Who will be there for me at every hour of the day
Will I find love now or later
Is he like me or totally the opposite
Will it be true love
how will i know if it is?

Sorry I get hung up on misspellings or typos, could you copy and paste "True Friends" into a word processor, correct the spellings (and if you want save a copy) then copy and paste it into the post to have the corrections?

I like your optimistic, thoughtful style, though maybe add in a bit more story behind them?

Thank you, Poetsespresso. I have fixed the misspellings. Can I ask what you mean about add more story? The poems are about what I was feeling. Guess just a bit confused b/c I thought poems were also about feelings.
