| (( Alright. =D ))
It was nearly an hour later that Flish appeared, an object clenched in his fist. "We need to go." he urged, glancing around. "Once we're out of town, I'll call for my god to get this." He looked around some more, guards were starting to head towards him. The priest had a black eye, and half of his bangs seemed to have been neatly cut off a centimeter from his scalp, leaving them standing almost upright.

| Ana-Lii was practically speechless. "What happened to you in there, Flish?" She was already packing her fiddle away, and Vorelmiirik was rolling his eyes. He had a feeling something like this was going to happen. "And I'll take care of that eye once we can stop running." She smiled and looked over. "Where to? I'm ready to run when you are!" Ana-Lii grinned. It had been a while since she had had so much fun.
Vorelmiirik couldn't help but crack a smile. He was fond of a good chase sometimes, especially when nobody was physically harmed. Aside from Flish.

| Flish grinned and pointed to the eastern gate. "That way. It's a bit longer out, but my lord seems to have a thing for shitty towns like the one that lies that way." He ignored the question about what happened. he would explain later. He shoved the object into his belt pouch, ready to go, then paused. "I need to stop at the inn for my gear."

| Ana-Lii thought for a moment. Him stopping at the inn might be a little too dangerous for the already on-the-run cleric. "I'll go get it." She grinned. "Just tell me what it looks like and where we should meet afterwards, okay?" This was her usual role- covering up for the less lawful members of the party, because of her ability to get along with leader-figures.
Vorelmiirik looked up at her. "Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, the guards have seen you with him, so they might be a little more suspicious of you."
"Maybe, but not as suspicious as they are of him." Vorel thought for a moment after Ana-Lii said all of that, and nodded.
"You have a point."

| Flish nodded, describing his armor, shield, weapons, backpack, and sack. "I'll be in the tree outside of town." he told her. This one seemed to be a keeper. She wasn't pissy, nor did she expect him to act honorably. He could see a profitably partnership forming from this, at least for a time... If she managed not to completely botch fetching his gear.

| Ana-Lii nodded. "Very well then! I'll see you there! C'mon Vorel!" She shouted to the dragon as she ran down the street. He nodded and flew up to meet her.
As she dashed down the street, she tried to remember if she had any more invisibility spells left. "Rats used my last one on the cleric. Guess it's time to be a little sneakier than usual." She muttered as she neared the inn. She slowed her pace as she got closer and closer. As she learned from her Spellthief friend, the worst thing you can do when dealing with a crime scene is run. It would be best to look as natural as possible. She slipped into the inn, and nobody noticed her. Nobody, that is, except the waitress.
"Excuse me, but your cleric friend forgot to pay for the meals." She walked over with a somewhat annoyed expression.
"Oh... he did?" She grinned, and fished in her bag for a few coins. She pulled them out and put them in the waitress's hand. "There. This should cover it. And don't worry about change." She grinned as she headed upstairs. His gear was just where he said it was, and she gathered it up and headed out. Fortunately, none of the guards paid her any mind. These were the plusses of being new in a country- she didn't have a record here yet. Now she had to make it to the tree outside of town.

| Near the east gate, a commotion could be heard. The sound of steel meeting steel echoed as Flish used a fallen guard's sword to ward off the other two guards. He looked like he was being beaten, however. He couldn't turn and run, not without being open for attack during his flight.

| Ana-Lii could hear the commotion and ran that way, Vorelmiirik gliding in front of her. "I'll check out the situation!" He shouted back. He had mixed feelings about the cleric, but Vorel realized that they could not lose their guide, no matter how mixed his feelings may be. When he got to where he was, he surveyed the situation and flew straight back to Ana-Lii. "It looks pretty bad, Ana-Lii! He's surrounded!" Vorel said as he flew nearer to her.
"Then we'll sow some discord among his enemies!" She smiled mischeviously as she dropped the cleric's gear and pulled out her fiddle. She wasn't exactly sure if a Song of Discord would work in this case, but it was worth a try. As she got closer to the surrounded Flish, she started playing.
Upon hearing the music, the guards surrounding the cleric suddenly looked as if they were under a trance. Growling, they ignored the cleric, looked at each other with a newfound hatred, and started fighting amongst each other. That was how a Song of Discord worked- it made allies turn against each other. She had only done it once before against a pack of wolves controlled by an evil sorceress, and was actually quite surprised to see it working on humans. Any ones that weren't under the song's spell were taken down by those that were.
As they fought, Ana-Lii walked up to the cleric. "Your stuff's over there. How about you pick that up and we get out of here before the spell wears off?"

| "Wonderful idea." he told her as he walked to his gear and donned an undershirt, then his chainmail and otherwise equipped himself. He put his mace into his belt, and his rapier sat on the other side, with a dagger in front of the bace. His belt went over his mail and held two belt pouches. Flish's pack was hefted onto his back and shield strapped to his arm. Finally, he grabbed the remaining sack and hurried to her. "Ready." he told her with a grin.

| She smiled back. "Then let's go. Ready, Vorel?" She looked down at the wyrmling dragon, who was resting on her shoulders again.
"I'm always ready." He grinned. A little bit of action was always welcome in the dragon's book. It was always a marvelous deviation from the norm, and if there was anything the dragon could say he hated, it was the norm. He loved causing a little chaos as long as nobody got hurt in the midst of it. And fortunately, nobody he cared about got hurt. A few guards would probably be wounded, but it kept Ana-Lii and her newfound companion safe. That was all that mattered.

| With that, Flish chucked a stone at a guard's head, then started jogging out of town. He was armed now, so he was unafraid of the guards. He was definitely more experienced than them, after all. Leaving with a bang of some sort was natural by now... It felt sinful to do otherwise.

| Ana-Lii packed her fiddle up once again and headed out behind him. Being on the run and on the road... felt like old times to the bard. Vorelmiirik watched with much amusement as the guards continued to beat each other to a pulp, with the commanding officers coming to try and calm the raging mob. He knew that eventually the spell would wear off and they would stand around, feeling like complete fools. He wished he could be around to see that, but he knew that that was not an option.

| in the afternoon of the next day, Flish veered off to the side. "Hey. I need to check something out. On the way here we found a camel... I want to see if it's still around." the muttered as he pushed through the undergrowth on the side of the road. He was wearing proper traveling wear now, with his symbol of Pelar around his neck, and his wooden symbol of Olidammara was fitted into the back of the silver symbol

| Ana-Lii decided not to mention her bad luck with animals at this time. Every horse she had ever owned during her adventures was always brutally murdered. Since then, she decided that traveling on foot, while more time-consuming, was the way to go. "Well, where was it approximately? If we find it, you can take the camel, and I can use my own ride." She grinned. Before she had left, an old bard-friend had taught her a phantom steed spell, and she was itching to try it out.
