Hydra smiled shyly. 'Hi... I'm Hydra now,' she said, not thinking of anything else to say.

Morticea hugged her, her touch like ice. "You're adorable...!" she cooed with a smile. She didn't seem to be taking Hydra too seriously.

Obsidian waved, a friendly grin on his face. "Call me Sid. You can just call Psiblast 'Psi' if you want."

((well... several weeks... I'm back now. I can't believe an event started the moment I left. Not fair! xD))

'Er... If you say so...' It felt so strange talking to the Generals like this. She doubted she'd call Psiblast 'Psi', in case it angered him or something.

Psiblast wrinkled his nose at the girl, then left the room. "Call me when it's time to kill her. She won't last long." he commented. "Probably doesn't even have the guts to kill anyone yet."

Obsidian rolled his eyes. "Shut up, Psi!" he called, then he returned his attention to Hydra. "So, what kinds of things do you enjoy doing?" he asked politely as Morticea cooed over the newest general.

Kill anyone? She could hardly kill a beetle without feeling bad about it. 'Er... I like to... Um... Go for long walks, I guess...' She blushed slightly, feeling embarrassed.

Obsidian tilted his head. "That all? What about swimming?" he asked cheerfully. Outside the door, Psiblast smirked. He knew it-- she was just some lackey that got really lucky somehow.

((yeah, I've been looking around in the shops *pokes sun in background*))

'Er... I don't swim much... and boats make me feel sick, even the small ones. I guess I like animals. I used to have a neighbour with a great big dog. He couldn't control it, but it seemed to turn into a puppy whenever I was around.' She grinned.

Obsidian chuckled. "What's a dog like?" he asked, sounding interested. The boy had never seen a dog save for those that barked at him from the yards of the children he had helped kidnap. He had never known a dog to do anything but bark at him.

'Well, there are all different kinds of dogs. Some are huge, while others are tiny. They're instinctively pack animals. They cannot live on their own. That's probably why they're so loyal, and why they usually die when abandoned, unlike cats. You know, they can sense your emotions, so when you're afraid, they take advantage of that to scare you away from their territory. But I don't mind them. I've never been bitten by a dog. It's amazing how some people can get along so badly with them. You've just gotta show who's the dominating figure, or they'll never respect you.' She stopped, realizing she was ranting.

Obsidian nodded, glancing away. Well, that rant made things awkward. He was quiet for a while, glancing at Morticea.

"What does a dog feel like?" Morticea asked, tilting her head.

'Er, well, it depends on the type of dog, see. Some have short fur while others long, but when groomed well they're quite soft, especially the ears... What do you like doing?'

"I like going shopping, and Sid likes punching things in the training room." Morticea answered with a grin and a happy nod.

Sid nodded. "Yep. Punching things. Great fun."

'Ok...' she said nervously. 'Wait, how can you go shopping when you... you look like that?'

"I go to somewhere very far north, where people are superstitious." she explained with a happy smile. "That or I scare people in malls."

Hydra chuckled. 'That sounds like fun,' she said.
