| Flish grinned widely. "He congratulated me on my skills a while ago. I figured I would simply continue." His eyes narrowed in pleasure. The bard was blushing. Things would be... rather simple. His last party had come to detest him because he had not known the unwritten rules of adventuring then. Since then, he had learned quite well. Damned halfling. He would be happy to never find a halfling monk, or any type who loved laws. Good? he could deal with goody people. Lawful ones who lived by codes and insisted others lived by those same codes those idiots lived by? He couldn't stand them.

| "Well, If you're keeping your true identity a secret I'll be happy to keep the secret myself. I worked with a few of His worshippers, but never a cleric. I must say, if I wasn't born to Draconic peoples and taken up the worship of Hlal, Olidammara would've most likely been my choice." Ana-Lii grinned.
Vorelmiirik didn't konw what to think of this cleric now that he had revealed himself. Then again, he was rather fond of Olidammara. He would make sure to keep a closer eye on both of them. While Ana-Lii could take care of herself in most situations, she had trouble judging people.

| "Much appreciated." Flish told her, then become quiet, nodding as the waitress returned with more stew for Vorel. "And here's your seconds, Vorel." he said politely before thanking the waitress. Once she was gone, he grinned. "Lord Olidammara would likely welcome the additional worship." he told her with a wink, then laughed.

| Vorelmiirik practically dove into the bowl. That first one was only a warmup. He was a young dragon, and he still had a few hundred years of growing to do before he finally reached physical maturity.
"Hlal has saved my skin one too many times for me to change over. Most dragon gods do not care much for their human worshippers, but She is different." Hlal had saved her from her cleric friend when he became a lich, and helped her eventually destroy him. There were times when she wondered, though, if he truly was gone. He was more than a lich. He was an avatar of Vecna. "But she does rather enjoy the company of your god."

| Flish chuckled. "He is quite interesting." he murmured with a grin. "Well, since I'm likely going to be run out of town by an angry mob, care to join me in running for my life?" he asked, offering his hand to her with a friendly chuckle.
One of the village guards looked into the nearby window, shielding the surface from light with his arm. Seeing Flish, he nodded to someone behind him. This was the right inn.

| "Why run, when we can walk out even easier?" She smirked, grabbing his hand and dragging him into the shadows. She then pulled out her fiddle and cast a quick invisibility spell on Flish. "There! Now just follow me and tell me where to go." She walked out of the Inn, Vorelmiirik across her shoulders.
"Excuse me ma'am, but where did the cleric you were just talking to go off to?" One of the guards outside pulled her aside.
Ana-Lii looked towards the tavern. "He went out a back entrance." She smiled. "I'm not from around here, so after that I'm not sure were he headed."
The guard she was talking to nodded to the others, and they went into the tavern. "Thank you very much, ma'am."
Ana-Lii waved to the guard. "No problem. Whatever I can do to help, sirs." When he walked away, she and Vorelmiirik nodded to each other. "Alright, Flish, where do we go from here?"

| "First, how long does this last? I would like to get my god's shield if at all possible before we move on. It is here. My old party members can rot, since they're useless and idiotic." the man murmured as he glanced from side to side. "Very nicely done. My original plan was to leave in the morning, sneak in later, and get it. It needs to be grabbed before the hot weather kicks in."

| "It'll last a few hours, as long as you don't try to attack anything. Oh yes..." She took two copper coins. After murmuring a few quick words over them, she handed one to him. "And sure, I don't mind it if you get the shield back. In fact. I'll keep an eye out here for any guards or people. This is a listening coin. I'll be able to talk to you through it just in case anybody comes around. Just lead me to the whereabouts of the shield and I'll set up a performance space outside."

| The man nodded, then remembered she likely couldn't see him. "The mayor's house." he told her. "Can you see me, or do I have to push you in the right direction?" came the obligatory question.

| "You have to remember- I've barely been in this city a few hours. I'm still not exactly sure where everything is. But to keep from looking too awkward, just stand near me and whisper the directions." This was a strange experience for Ana-Lii. Usually she was the invisible one, directing the party. It was interesting being on the non-invisible side.

| The man nodded and walked beside her. "Walk down this street, towards the lamp pole." he instructed quietly, a light push to her elbow pushing her in the right direction. Briefly, he considered stripping right there, but then he recalled he hadn't consumed a single drop of alcohol, and thus had no excuse.

| "Alright." She nodded, going in the direction of the shove. She tried to keep her lips from moving too much. She would look a little crazy if she was talking to herself.
"Ana-Lii?" Vorelmiirik looked over at her. "Ui nomeno vi bensvelk ulhyrr?" He seemed a little nervous and fidgety on her shoulder, so he leapt off and walked next to them.
"We've done stuff like this before. Don't worry, Vorel. We're not going to be the ones stealing anything. We're just playing lookout. We've played lookout how many times before?" Ana-Lii looked down at the dragon.
"Too many times to count." He muttered.
"Then stop worrying." She sighed. "We'll be fine."

| Flish used small touches to her elbow to lead, lightly applying pressure to indicate if she should turn. He left her at the entrance, then slipped off to do his own thing. The windows were open to let in the spring breeze, and Flish laughed inwardly. This would be easy.

| When she felt Flish stop directing her, she looked up. "Well, this is a nice place." she muttered. Then she looked down at Vorelmiirik. "Well, how about we start playing?" She smiled at the dragon.
He nodded nervously and watched as she set down her fiddle case and started playing. She decided that now was not the best time to play for money, so she kept the lid closed. As she kicked her fiddle off to an energetic reel, Vorelmiirik started drumming a matching rythym on the case. Ana-Lii smiled. She had taught the little dragon well.
