| FFF YES.
It was when I got my first apartment. It was the middle of winter, so, you know, knee deep snow.
I had a gas heater, so, it heated the water, powered the stove, and the actual heating system that I had in front. I couldn't turn it on myself because I wasn't qualified or anything, so I had to keep calling my landlord to get some guy to turn it on for me that worked around the apartments.
He put in a sprinkler system (That actually they ended up never using), fixed the stairs in front of the house (that were concrete), planted a few flowers outside my apartment (even though I'd asked them NOT to, seeing as it was the middle of freakin' winter, they weren't going to grow), and everything else.
It took them three weeks to finally come to my house to turn a tiny switch, use a lighter, and leave. I was furious. Not only that, there was a huge gas leak in my apartment afterward. I didn't even get a chance to take my first warm shower in weeks before I had to evacuate my apartment because the dumbass that had done it in the first place messed up one of the gas lines when he was fiddling around in there.
I had no friends to stay with, or family in the area, it was horrible. I got back into the apartment, though, and there was warmth.

When I went with my cousins we spent the night and it felt great to get into a hot shower again.

I can't take a shower in cold water,last time I tried I got a terrible cold and I still got it from 3 weeks ago.>>;;

| omg, I know, right? I hate having a weak immune system. It always hits me where it hurts when I really don't need it.
To top it all off, I lived off of microwavable food for god knows how long> D: I Put on so much weight while I was out there, it was terrible. Luckily I could walk most of it off since it was a pretty bustling and tight knit city.
Though the random folks peeing in the bushes in front of my house really was a put off. Considering the fact they're so pissed drunk that I'll be checking my mail and look over while turning to go down the steps, an there's yellow ice there. Uhm, ew much?
But I do understand that. I can't go to bed with a wet head (after a shower) because of that. I wake up with a sore throat and runny nose, even if it's the middle of summer. ;A;
