Lottos?

Here's a question:

Are we allowed to do lottos? I mean, it says Raffles and Auctions, but why not lotteries? If you're not sure what I mean, I mean this:

I sell 100 tickets for 10 gold each. I use random.org to figure out the ticket winner. the winner would receive 900 silver, and I would receive 100.

Is this allowed? If not, why? o3o <3

I have not seen anything saying no to this but then again I have not seen anyone ever ask it before.

If Cat or Ari or even any of the moderators dont get to this before say... tomorrow night, PM Cat. She makes all the rules, so she would deffinatly know. And she normally gets to questions within the same day so I don't think you will have to PM her.

I was thinking of starting a weekly lotto where the winner gets 90% and I keep 10% for profit. A way to help people as well as myself . x3

I personally not see any harm in this. It is like a raffle or an avatar contest.

But like I said, get permission first.

Currently there are no rules against A raffle/lotto/whatever you would like to call it.

Just make sure you follow all other rules when making a thread. Okay?
