| Hey, people! :D
I haven't been on in a few days, but that's because I've been in the hospital. D:
Stupid bronchitis. >.>
I still have a 102.5 temperature and every time I swallow I want to rip my throat out, but I'm just so glad to be back home. :D
So anyone else ever been so sick you've had to go to the hospital? =o

| Well at least you're doing better. ^^
My sister was hospitalized a few months ago which started as a lung infection and escalated into one of her lungs failing and being thrown into the ICU.
:/ I hate hospitals.
I’m pretty healthy though, but then again I’m also too stubborn to go to the hospital when I need it. >.>; While my sister was in there I was suffering from a UTI for a week before I went, and I still had to be dragged in there.

| I had to go to the hospital to get an ovary taken out 3 years ago. :o
I was out at the movies at Victoria Gardens one Sunday with my friend Joey; saw Ultraviolet, loved it. But I kept getting awful cramps during the movie, so it wasn't as nice and comfortable as it could have been. I thought at first that it might have just been post-period cramps, hunger (since I hadn't felt hungry at lunch and the last time I ate was at 8 that morning), or my jeans were just a little too tight at the tummy. I lived through it, went to dinner and took him home, then went home myself and got into comfy clothes and took a Midol. But throughout the night, I was waking up with that extreme pain, so much so that I was crying from it. I had a feeling something was wrong then....
So, Gram called up a doctor's appointment for me on Monday to see what the problem could be. At first, the exam pointed to possible bloating, cramps, constipation (yuck!), or something simple like that. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, the doctor said that it could be cysts in my ovaries, since the pain was on the opposite side of my appendix. Hence, she sent me in to get an ultrasound after drinking 32 ounces of water and having lunch. Ultrasound = painful. I had to pee PLUS the nurse had to press down real hard on the painful parts of my tummy. Ouchies. >_< Not fun. Well, to my dismay, I saw a few areas where she typed in "cyst". Not good.
Upon returning to the doctor, she informed me that when she showed one of the gynocologists, the gyno wanted a CT scan of it to be sure of the cyst and to see the severity. So, around dinner-time, I was sent to the ER area to get ready for the CT scan. I was already a little freaked out, because they were talking major surgery if it was serious, and the people at the ER had to hook me up to an IV and take blood tests. I HATE NEEDLES. Absolutely terrified of them. And so many needles were used.... -shudder- So of course all throughout that time, I was a nervous wreck, but after all the needles were done with me and I couldn't feel the IV in my hand, I calmed down and actually slept a bit because of the lack of it from the night before.
Long story short, the CT scan showed a cyst. MULTIPLE cysts. One HUGE cyst. Not fun. Not good. Meaning, same-day-surgery. I was weak, I was tired, I was not in a good emotional state, and they dumped that on me. GREAT!
Anyway, even longer story short, the surgery happened between 12 midnight and 3 AM Tuesday morning, and I was recovering in the hospital until late Wednesday afternoon. They said the big factor of my being able to leave was for me to urinate on my own without the use of a catheter. That thing was uncomfy. >_< Finally! I did it! I never thought I would say huzzah for being able to piss on my own! I also never thought it would be such a great feat at 16 to be able to stand firmly, let alone walk down a hallway. But I did it! Thrice! Within two days I was standing and walking without too much trouble! Though it was a bitch to get up, since my tummy didn't like to move without being in pain. Thank the Gods for Vicoden through the IV tube. Oddly enough, that IV tube turned out to be my friend. More blood tests had to be taken later on Wednesday, and the IV had helped keep fluid and warmth in my body so my collapsing veins would stay standing up for the blood needles. Haha, I'll never be able to take drugs through injections, even if I ever do lose my fear of needles. My veins are so crappy and hidden that the needle would never find them. XD
So now I'm down an ovary and I've had a few scares with the other one, but yeah, scariest hospital visit in my life.

| I hope you get well as soon as possible!
The last time i was in the hospital for my self was when i was a baby.
I was extremely sick >.<
But i will be there soon. but for a good reason.
My sister's due date is on monday >.<
I'm so excited!!
I'll have a niece.
Going the hospital really sucks. Just being there for someone else who is in pain is hard. I can't imagine being there for myself.

I hope you feel better now. ;]

| Agh, sorry to hear it! I've never been hospitalized, to be honest. I have had a lot of health problems in the past, but nothing that required an in-patient stay.
