:tree: So everyone on Midorea, Happy Holidays!! :3 :tree:

I think the last time I was on here was Halloween? Anyways, My fiance was like talking to his best friend one day and then he goes, ''Merry Christmas Max lol!'' his best friend Max says, ''I'm Jewish. Epic Fail.''

And I'm on the ground laughing my but off, because my fiance goes, ''The one Jewish I know, I wish him a Merry Christmas.''. :3 My fiance laughs along with me. :3 Later on that day, I talked to my friend out of state and I go, ''Happy Hanukkah Jez! :3'' my friend Jez goes, ''I'm Christian Rox.'' And then my fiance saw that and started laughing at me. Jab

Karma is funny sometimes and this is just another way to prove it is. :3

Discuss::
How did you spend the holidays?
What do you want to do with your last holiday?
How do you react when you were in the position my fiance and I were in?

Christmas has become a corporate holiday anyways, so I just say Merry Christmas. Even though I am not Christian. The safe bet is always Happy Holidays. I should say Merry Yule! because I am Wiccan, but I don't. I just say Merry Christmas, because its easier, everyone knows what it is, and hardly anyone actually takes it to mean Merry Day of Jesus' Birth!

Lets face it, Christmas is just all about presents, Santa, and a big holiday meal with family. The religious markers to the holiday are pretty much all but stripped, except to those who are highly religious.

Most of the Christmas traditions are rooted in Pagan Origin anyways. Same Holiday, different name!

I work at a grocery store where obviously people of many cultures and religious backgrounds will be shopping.
I try and say, "Happy Holiday's" as opposed to Merry Christmas. Unless of course the customer is wearing a Christmas themed item of clothing.
We are required to answer the store phones with the greeting, "Happy Holidays and thank you for calling..."

I say Merry Christmas, because the only people around me are Christians and I'm a Christian. =o

And when I'm in town, I don't feel the need to say any different.
