though, that might be more from us learning it in trimesters, instead of a semester.
We literally had a week to get katakana memorized, and we didn't even go over it in class...-dies-

| I got katakana down easily but sometimes I accidentally mix hiragana in with it. xP
And I'm not very good at translating katakana either. :/ On today's test it took me ten minutes to realize that the word that I kept missing in the passage was boyfriend. DX

| I hate katakana. Im supposed to know it, but i really only know like10 characters. My teacher last year spent a week on it, and then we never used practiced it again.

| They're both eaqually challenging; it just depends on what you learn first.
Most people that take Japanese at my school would probably say katakana because we learned hiragana first, and tend to mix them up from time to time since they both make the exact same sounds.
