| hate to tell yah but swords really suck at close range, and in the dark too...(with my vision as well thats why I taped up my cane sword to use it as a mace intead, the handle like 3 pounds of pokey steel).
I think it might have been the screech alarm that scared him, why get ADT when you can scream all the robbers away?

| Dragonfly.....*shudders* That would freak me the heck out!!! In the last year, I've been noticing a gross creature in my home. The first time I saw it, I nearly wet myself from the terror. After getting rid of it, with the help of some wall climbing cats, I looked it up online. Get this....it's called a "household centipede". JESUS......they're 100 times bigger than the ones you see outside!!!!!! ._.

| are you sure it wasn't a millapede? Did it look like a big worm? did it smell funny? (all creepy things smell funny)
My younger sibling used to bring millapedes into the house were they would die and smell; she stopped doing after I threaten to put lizards in her bed (did the threat with a lizard in hand).
You probably need to spray some bug killer around the house, cause roaches can sqeeze under floors D: I saw it happen then I smooshed it.

| how creepy, i hear alot of noises at night, my room is in the back garden(if i still had a room in the house i'd have to share so no thanks) and well living in the garden can be creepy sometimes... at about 4am you'd sometimes hear banging noises or clicking... it can get really strange sometimes!

I could swear I heard the closet door, just outside my closed bedroom door, open. It has a very distinct sound when you open it because its tight against the wall when closed. I asked my mom if she did it, she said no. I think I may have a ghost.

| Helpful? I don't think my cat knows the meaning. She's always getting into things she shouldn't be, and she knows, because she'll see me going for the water bottle and she'll run away and hide.
I'm always having to get on to her, especially when it's bed time because she wants to climb onto things and behind things and explore... and be noisy.
On another note, dragonflies are pretty awesome, but I think I'd freak out too if something random was flying around in my room.

A handicapped friend of mine was in bed and heard someone at her window, she looked to see and saw a crazy looking man. The next day, we came to check on her and she told us what happened. We checked the window outside of her bedroom and found a hole in it. It looked like he had been trying to break in.
