Which wings are you talking about? The ones on the front page?

Those are called ARIs here, and are this site's monthly items. You have to get Gold, which is achieved through donating to the site or by buying from another member, and pay for it that way.

They cost 2 gold per pair. :3

Donating is a very good thing. :D

If someone donates to you, that typically means they're giving you currency/items to make you happier, help you finish a quest, etc. :3

But you can't really ask for those. Those are usually giving by acts of kindness. :3

To get awesome stuff, you have to buy it or work for it.

It's really not that confusing at all...

(And generally, people are more apt to give donations when people aren't asking for them. Begging isn't cute when my cat wants a bite of my food, and it isn't cute when people want something for nothing. Just my two sense)
