| Personally one of my most favorite GC games ever was Timesplitters, but that's an FPS...
Hmmm, what RPGs did I have on it..
Also <3 you for liking ToS~ Let me have a think on it.

| I've played TimeSplitters, I rather enjoyed it back then. As cheesy as it was. Lately I've been feeling like the GC is an obscure game console that noone likes to admit to have owned. xD In any case, do feel free to make suggestions of any genre not just RPG, I'm just a bigger fan of RPG than most other genres.
Today is a lazy day. I'm going to hop back into bed for a couple more hours.

| One of my favorite games was Phantasy Star Online (I & II on one disc)... It was incredibly long winded but I loved it, stabby stabby pewpew magics~
Played it with my brothers so I had to have a good healing spell... They just ran at things like stupids.
I liked Mystic Heroes despite the terrible voice acting (especially from my favourite character), simply 'cos it was like a more childish version of Dynasty Warriors.
Oooo Baten Kaitos too, also despite some dubious voice actors and wanting to punch one of the characters in the face on numerous occasions...
F-Zero GX~ I'm not big on racing games but this was one of the exceptions and I'm still not sure why so I can only conclude that it must be awesome.
Killer 7 was pretty sweet too, in a completely nuthouse way. Story was really good... Though I never got to play it myself, I watched my brother play it. He got stuck quite a bit... So it's either hard, or he sucks.
Can't think of anymore at the moment, other than the Pokemon Stadiums, but unless you're awesome with rental pokemon they're only really good if you like the handheld ones...
I'm a nerd ^(o.o^) Gamecube was awesome though, fie on those who are ashamed of it.

| My favorite GC game (aside from harvest moon because I'm a nutty fanatic person) was definitely Evolution Worlds. I'm not sure I'd call it an RPG per say, though it had such qualities. It's a remake actually of a pair of games for the Sega Dreamcast that were shortened a bit and mashed together sort of. I'm annoyed I didn't get to try the original since they had more dungeon crawling, which is my favorite thing usually, but even if it was hard I still adored the new version anyway. The story is pretty nifty, the voices are randomly entertaining (well, for a while) and...The names are puns. I mean, seriously. Mag Launcher, Linear Cannon and Gre Nade. o3o

| Ah yes, PSO. . . The very first game I got for GameCube. I was looking for Melee that night and ended up somehow suspiciously with PSO, with me thinking it was Final Fantasy; was very new to gaming back then, the GameCube was the first console I actually owned. May I say that PSO consumed my life for years to come when I found out how to play Online. Years to come. Best damn online game I've ever played and still is; well I really mean its newer iterations in PSU and PSO2.
Mystic Heroes, I could never get into that game. I have it lying about somewhere in my closet. A friend of mine highly recommended it back in the day but for some damn reason I could never get it. I played it for an hour before I went back to other games. I'll try to give it a shot again seeing as I've got no reason not to now.
Baten Kaitos. I've not heard of that game in forever. I am sad I never played it. I will have to get this now. Literally every single time I walked into the Game Store, I would forget everything I was looking for and just browse from area to area.
The other three I've played already xD I was always sucky at Pokemon Colosseum rofwl. Honestly, I really just never got into the storyline. The game felt bland like I expected something more from a GameCube game or something to that regard. I don't know exactly why I didn't like it but, I definitely just didn't. Not to say it wasn't a challenging game though. I had my moments of joy when I won a difficult match.
Thanks for that suggestion Juneberry. I've never heard of either the GC or DreamCast version of Evolution Worlds. It sounds interesting based on it being a DreamCast game as DreamCast could do no wrong xD
By chance does anyone follow Amnesia? (Totally random) I'm really psyched because I just bought it pre-release. Making this the second game I ever pre-ordered. Thefirst being MGS4:GotP.

| Amnesia? Sadly, I see that and either think of a character with amnesia or an anime that was called that, apparently based off a visual novel of some sort. What's the game about?

| Ah its a game from the Indie Horror Genre or, it used to be Indie Horror, I'm not sure if its still considered Indie anymore. Your guess about it involving a character with amnesia isn't wrong at all. xD If you're not into horror though, you won't be into the game. I'm just really excited because I've been personally waiting for 3 years for the sequel to be released. The game is named "Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs" and is a sequel to Amnesia.
A quick update on the GameCube stuff, I've started playing a GameCube game named "Geist". I'd never heard of it until a day or two ago, my brother just suggested it to me out of the blue. So I'm really enjoying that game.
Finally, on the topic of pre-release anticipation, have you ever been excited for a game before it came out, if so which game was it?

| ...Do I have to name just one? Because I can name a million. Well, maybe not a million. But a whole lot! >:c
Let's see... I felt like I was dying waiting for Rune Factory 3 to come out. Most Harvest Moon games and similar ones keep me that way in general though. Well, some. To be honest, I'm not too frenzied over RF4 right now o.o; Pokemon games tend to be big with me too...Oh, and Animal Crossingw as a big deal to me this year xD
If it's other games...I'm sure there have been some, but to be honest, I'm not totally sure anymore o.o;

| I'm always excited before a tales game comes out, I still love the series.. Though I was a little disappointed in Xillia lately. I guess at the risk of sounding uber nerd (but at this point who cares) I'm always excited for Pokemon games as well lol, the handheld ones more than console ones.
Also the new smash bros, though STILL WAITING on Fire Emblem characters to be announced for it.
Which reminds me...
<3 FIRE EMBLEM!
Anyway. Any Kirby games as well, I do still kinda look forward to Final Fantasy games but I'm sick to death of the current storyline, I miss when they'd just go to new characters.. Lightning is boring, Snow is a douche, Hope is a weinerboy, Vanille acts like she's on a sugar high like all the time, and that new guy.. Begins with an N? Looks like a male Fang? No personality.. Sorry if there's anyone here who totally loves the later Final Fantasy games lol..
Oh and it's probably obvious with my name but I love the Pikmin games and really look forward to them :p
(I could ramble forever about games...)

| The only Final Fantasy game I was particularly fond of was Crystal Chronicles. Not sure why though. o.o;
But I'm waiting for Smash Bros too, including the character announcements. I heard a really weird rumor on tumblr once that one of the main characters from harvest moon was gonna be in it, which I doubt is true, but it'd entertain me if it is. Either way, sorta psyched that the villager from Animal Crossing is gonna be playable. Can't wait to see what I can do there <3

| I'm pretty obsessive about getting the next Professor Layton game, other than that I don't have list of must buys. There was a large portion of time where I was quite broke and only had access to what others would lend me and I'm just getting back into the gamer loop now that I have a real income again. I pay attention any time a new Final Fantasy, Mana or Dragon Quest comes out though. I love RPGs. I love a lot of other genres too, but I can't play them as well. I just don't have good gaming reflexes. Sometimes I pay attention to things I want to watch my brother play though. That used to be mostly Mega Man, but I guess now it's going to be for Mighty Number 9.

| Just to make sure, what does Mana refer to? I know lots of games with it in the title so I like to make sure. I'm similar to how you were though. I'm generally broke, but once in a while I can still manage one new game or so. I basically am allowed a certain number of games in a given time period. Like...2 a year about right now. But that's nice to me anyway. I can always replay games anyway. Like right now xD
What I really want to play is Car Battler Joe again, but I can't find my cartridge x-x;

| My attention to games is a bit weird I guess. While I enjoy a lot of the games mentioned like Final Fantasy (any one before 10 and 10-2) and Harvest Moon. I'm more excited for things like Metal Gear Solid and this Amnesia game. I'll tell you one thing though. Smash Bros is the reason I'll buy the next 20 Nintendo consoles to come. I am absolutely addicted to that game. My brothers and I have a field day playing it against each other (4 of us). We've been practically living with Brawl this entire summer.
Anyway, I think my taste in games has changed from when I was younger. I used to go crazy over the next Pokemon Game and I followed the Final Fantasy Series like a hawk as well as Metroid etc. For some reason, now I'm not so into those games any longer. Not to say I don't love them, they will always have a place in my heart.
Also Fire Emblem, another game I promised myself I would play and I never got to it! I must get to this.
Oh and before I forget. Golden Sun was my addiction from ages 13 - 19. I am beast at Golden Sun puzzles.

| I liked Golden Sun. Maybe I should pick up the rest of that series.
@Juneberry: Secret of Mana, Legend of Mana, Sword of Mana, ect. I don't know if the series has an official shortened name. The very first game in that series was called Final Fantasy Adventure. Two games a year would have been nice, I wouldn't say your out of the gamer loop entirely.

| Revived my mood to play Golden Sun again. I'll probably start it over in a few weeks (if I remember). I don't want to get sucked into a void of doing nothing-ness just yet lmao.
The only Mana game I have played is a really old PS1 game called Legend of Mana. Is that the game you're talking about? If yes then OMG that game was amazing! I think that was one of the first games I played that made me really appreciate being able to completely shape your "destiny". The other being Chrono Trigger of course.
