I never watched Parks and Recreation.
And I only heard of s'mores because my granny had us make them as kids using her fireplace.

We cooked lots of things on that fireplace, I'll tell ya o.o;

I love sweets in general o3o And I liked the fireplace. I've always had a fear of fire, but if I didn't get too close, I quite liked it. It was fun to look at and stuff. We don't use it much when we go there anymore though. I wish we had one here ;-;

We had one around 12 or 13 years back when i was in primary school..... i think it's the reason i'm fascinated with fire haha

Sweets are awesome, so yummy i tried my hand at a red velvet cake a few weeks ago; though my icing skills need work i think it turned out pretty good.
And i'm consistently demanded to make Carrot cake every week so the other half can take it to work LOL

I wish we had one during the hurricane this past November. We had no power for 11 days. I'd have loved a fireplace to help us keep warm more than all the blankets, layers of sweaters and candles would give.

...Well, at least a few days we finally got to stay in a hotel with Nanny. But still. We would've loved a fireplace then. So I vote they're underrated nowadays.

Then again, I don't know where we'd fit a fireplace in my apartment. ;-;

Ah, I wish I could bake. :C That all sounds so yummy. I haven't have red velvet cake in ages.

Yeah all these new houses like mine all have gas fireplaces. Not as fun. I'd love to be able to roast marshmellows over my fireplace, and hot dogs and stuff! I have a feeling I'd burn the house down though...

In the house I currently live in that we're renting out they've got a wood stove in the living room area, which is good because the heater doesn't do shit and it got really cold during the winter. We went through a lot of wood though (but the owners provided the wood so that was fine).

We've never actually tried cooking with it, but we've joked about it and I actually was thinking about making s'mores with it during the cold. We've always had s'mores and stuff, my mom's a bit of pyromaniac and we've always had bonfires when the weather's good at family events. Or often just because. xD My mom bought a little firepit just for that.

I don't know what type of stove we have...it's crap regardless but at least it works. It's old too.

We don't have any type of fireplace in the apartment. Just heat or AC. And you can't even get the windows open. Which was bad last year because NO ONE could open their windows last summer when Jericho came through and a lot of people were out of electricity for a week. O.o

We have an outdoor fireplace and a wood burning stove. The stove makes the room it's in 90 in the dead of winter, but is not smores-safe.

The outdoor fireplace however is AWESOME.

We have made so, so many smores at my house. Even during the winter. We just do them over the stove top flame.

I want an outdoor fireplace! There is room for one in the yard out back! But I doubt the landlady would eve think if putting it in because it would "mess up the yard." :/
