A few* General Questions

Aight. So. Since I'm a n00b, I have a few* questions.
Here goes.
1.
a. Is there a point to this thingamabob?
b. I mean, I know you can get a cool avatar, but what else do you do? Other than fight monsters.
2. If I wanted to sell the extra raw elements or lotuses that I have, where do I go?
a. Would anyone buy them?
3. Some of the outfits in the "Dream Avatar" closet thing are not available at the shops. Where and when can I get them?
a. For example, bases, or the pink eyes.
4. There are a bunch of skills, and there's a level and a progress. How do you progress on these things?
5. What is "Charm"?
a. Why can't I add a point to it or whatever?
6. Are there more than three zones?
a. Is there anything more to said zones other than varied monsters to battle?
7. Somewhere out there, there was a poll asking for stuff? So, quests were mentioned. How do I get these quests, and where?
8. How do I earn the right to exchange silver or petals?

1. This is an avatar site, basically what you do is post in the forums (or you can do other things like battle monsters) to get silver/whatever and with that buy items for your avatar. That's what you do on these sites. People usually stick around these for the community or to get the items.

2. To sell anything you don't want, you can go to the Market Square. You make a new thread and offer the things you want to sell. (And the things you particularly want to buy, if you want. Remember: Only one thread per person.)
a. I imagine there's be someone willing to buy anyone's extra elements/lotuses. Just try and see if anyone responds.

3. Most of the items you currently see in the shops are called Commons, excluding the ones in the Black Market Imports (bimonthly items; the items in this shop are called BMIs (bi-monthly items)) and the Temple of Gold (monthly gold items; the items in this shop are called ARIs (ancient relic items)). Once the items in these shops I just mentioned are gone, they're no longer available except from other users. Event Items (also called EIs) are also limited-time. The EIs for this event will be available until the 25th. All non-normal bases are rares and no longer available in shops. Sorry. :c
Pink eyes can be found in the Spring Mystery Boxes. Actually, most non-common sets can be seen here.

4. Most of your skills are not used, and they have yet to be removed from the site, excluding the Forge skill, which you level up by repairing weapons and armour.

5. Charm has been disabled and is not used. You can just ignore it. :U

6. The zones available depend on the current or most recent event. Different zones have been available at different times, but are now unnecessary.

7. Quests are only occasionally available. Once a quest has ended, the items you can get from that quest is no longer available. Quests usually last a couple weeks, but, as I said, they're pretty rare.

8. When the admin (Catghost) decides to enable or disable the possibility of exchanging these currencies. With most event currencies (in this case, the lotus petals), you are able to exchange them for a little silver once the event has ended. The only currency you can always exchange to another currency is copper to silver. You can't exchange anything else.

Edit: The only things you can buy with the petals (seeing as they're an event currency) are the Raw Elements, until the 25th.

First off, I'm pretty sure Catghost identifies as female (correct me if I'm wrong Cat )

1. I'm assuming you mean the point to Midorea. Which can mean different things to different people. But for the most part users chat/ have discussions/ roleplay in the forums. We also have events like the one going on now that we participate in.

2. Marketplace and possibly.

4. Keep fighting, you'll progress the more you battle. Check your character tab to see how far along you are.

5. Charm is a skill that has been disabled. If memory serves me it originally it could be used to steal from the store but people leveled high enough to steal from the gold store. Which of course doesn't help Midorea at all lol.

6. Yes, we are just in a event right now.

7. I'm not sure what you mean but we have the Wishing Well?

8. Petals can be exchanged here. Silver can't be exchanged, only copper to silver.

9. Same as last.

EH, not to rain on your parade Kixi but you should ask people what pronouns they prefer and/or if you can refer to them as something else before you do. While a lot people won't care it can be very painful to some to be misgendered.

You can only have one character per account. Essentially the account IS that character.

Catghost does most of the work around the site. The rest of the staff help, there are other artists and programmers and such, but not just one person...

What do you mean, close a thread? If you mean lock it so no one (including you) can post, you have to ask a moderator (like me /o/) or administrator.

Copper is gotten by posting in the following forums: fun 'n games, music and lyrics, and... the storybook I believe.

A mule is an extra account. You can have two mules on midorea.

"Weight" is basically something that tells how much weight your character can support (guessing it has something to do with your strength). It's used in some RPG and things like that to tell how much items you can carry, and probably came with the code Midorea is using, although I don't think we use it. I'm guessing if you reached the limit, you wouldn't be able to get more items? Maybe. Or maybe that thing has been disabled.

If you are carrying too much weight you cannot battle. Every item you acquire has some weight.

However, as Maeve said, weight restrictions are disabled in the battle system currently and have no effect. :)
