| Ouu.. DVDs.. I rarely use them xD
And a speed solver? I think my best friend wanted to be one for a little while there.. I can't remember now though xD
And I've made many attempts at sewing, I'm not bad, once I get going, starting up is the only difficult thing LOL

| I'm pretty good at sewing, but i lack the motivation to start a project.
I have a rubix cube i got years ago that i still haven't solved. I'm really bad at those kinds of things.

| I would totally try to make some if I got felt/fleece fabric. xP
Threading the bobbin is pretty much the same for each simple machine. But do you mean getting the thread onto the bobbin, or inserting the bobbin into the machine? I don't pay attention to wording/terms. D:
Heres a gif! :D
Which reminds me, I've only dealt with side loading bobbins, not top loading ones..
I need to get off my butt and sew more. D:
Don't look at me like that right now. D:

| oh no. xDD it was a 40 year old machine i use, and it's more... getting the thread to do the thing when i put the bobbin in. .__. it's probably simple but if you've ever seen an old singer sewing machine, it's like, MACHINE PARTS MACHINERY COMPLICATED THINGSSSSS everywhere.
/o/ I have such a vast vocabulary
And yes, you do! Sew things! Sew me things, specifically!

| Old is very good and durable!
After putting the bobbin in, there should be a way to move the needle slow by hand, like on newer machines, I hope. Have the bobbin case open and watch to see if the thread catches the bobbin thread and pulls it up out of the hole, then grab those two suckers and pull back away from the sewing area long enough so they don't interfere with the start of sewing.
I dunno how older machines work even though I want one. xD

| Sewing. Yeah, I pretty much suck at it. I've a sewing machine that my grandma bought me for Christmas a few years back (when she was still trying to convince me to get into sewing with her. xD;) That machine and I have never been very good friends; it has a top-loading bobbin and some of the most complicated inner workings I have ever seen on a simple machine. -.-; Hand sewing also doesn't work too well for me, since I'm out of practice and have some pretty sloppy needlework. ;-; I've made curtains, a quilt, some table runners, and pillows and pillowcases in the past...but that was only at my grandmother's insistence and with her guidance. I'd like to learn how to sew better though. Perhaps I'll add it to my vast list of hobbies that'll never truly be finished....

| The first machine i learned to sew on was one of the really old ones that don't use electricity. Once we sewed something on that we got to use the real machines, which were evil since they were old.

| Yeah, it's complicated but I'll figure it out. xP
Also, how's everyone doing? I'm currently finishing up the last bit of my classwork for this semester, which is exciting.

| Woo for finishing things!~ I'm currently visiting my 6 1/2 month pregnant cousin and am a little bored out of my mind and just wasting time while she sleeps. Also, I'm dreading/putting off cleaning out her cat litter box for her.

| Only for a couple of days. I'm probably going home tonight, actually. I just hadn't seen her in awhile, so I wanted to catch up and chill with her.
