| Epos;; Good luck getting it finished! This made me remember that I have a Chemistry Research paper due in may, and I've only got the idea, and basically what I want to look into so far.. I should work on it soon.. *procrastination*
And Only reason why I still do this, is because I'm far too lazy to study, and even when I do, it doesn't really change much for myself, I always end up being overtired, which kinda screws with my memory. And makes it difficult to really concentrate, or even allow my photographic memory(partial) to work as well as it could, if that makes sense.
Sly;; Hai there!

| Epos;; *patpat*
But yesyes, procrastination ftw c:
sly;; and then they decide to unite, the day after, and then the next day, and the day after the next day, and never go through with it, only bump the date forward, because they, the procrastinators, decide to procrastinate even more so each day c:
At least, that's how it is for me anyhow lul

| So... I've recently finished watching through FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, finally.
Something I don't understand.... why does him sacrificing his Truth door remove his Alchemic abilities?
The way they originally explained it was that by opening the door, you understand and learn essentially everything about Alchemy. So the door is only useful for attempted human transmutations, and maybe even dying. So by that, he can sacrifice it and still transmute.
But I'll give them that they're linked. He could transmute before opening the door. Those who haven't opened or even seen it can transmute. Can't he still wear gloves or draw circles and still be an Alchemist just fine?
Or do all Alchemists have Truth doors that are essentially their ability to perform Alchemy, and it's just those who open them that can do so without circles?
I confused.

| I've never seen brotherhood, but I've watched through the original series like 10 times and watches the movie just as many. xD And the way I understood it was that - and by no means is it the same as brotherhood, as I heard their plot is quite different - is that the gate is in all humans in their world, and those who have seen into the gate "know" the secrets of alchemy, the "truth". This is how Edward could bind Al's soul to the armor, if I remember correctly. They said he "came up with it on the spot" when he actually had learned it from the gate. Same applies to transmuting without a circle, as they learned this from the gate along with many other things.
Edward never sacrificed his Gate in the original series, so I dunno what's going on there. I really need to finish Brother hood, bluuhh. I just couldn't get into the stories/characters even after watching 25 episodes.
The original is so captivating. Have you seen it? :P

| Yeah, I watched the original first, a year or so ago. I was told I had to start with the first, because if I started with Brotherhood, going back to the original would be impossible, and I tend to agree.
Admittedly when I started Brotherhood not long after finishing the original, it seemed too similar and uninteresting, but after waiting a couple months, getting into it and seeing the immediate differences, LOVED IT.

| I actually prefer the original over brotherhood, but that could be because it's what I started FMA with.

| Fullmetal Alchemist? :OO I watched the original back in the day and Brotherhood when it was new. See, I used to be really into the manga, and it's still far better than either series, in my opinion. That being said, Brotherhood is closer to the manga so make of that what you will.... The manga still remains one of my all-time favorite stories, even to this day/~

| I don't have the patience to read most manga. I've kind of fallen out of anime/manga, actually.
I'm wanting to watch Supernatural and Sherlock over the summer. We'll see how that goes. xP

| Yeah, I actually always had more patience for manga than anime, oddly enough. I don't really watch anime or read manga anymore either....
Ooh, Supernatural and Sherlock are both excellent shows, if you ask me!

| Yeah, I hear nothing but good things about them. :3 Supernatural has so many seasons though... I don't know if I'll have the tenacity for it. xD I guess we'll see.
