Alright, give me a quick rundown of the game. What's it about?

Nope. I tried it briefly, but I don't remember anything about it. xD

You are a young person who has inherited a farm CONGRATULATIONS.

Then the game explains how to plant crops and buy animals.

You can buy cows which produce milk, and chickens, which produce eggs, and other animals that produce other stuff.

You find the best way to make money and then use that money to buy more buildings on your farm and produce more things.

All while trying to woo some man or woman to marry you and have children down the road.

Uuuhhmm and I dunno its also really addicting XD

I mean, it sounds about as interesting as Animal Crossing. You move into a town full of animals and decorate your house. xD That sounds boring, but it's addictive as hell. I'm sure Harvest Moon is the same way.

Harvest Moon is awesome. Plus, there are a lot of sequels and even a fantasy version where you can go out and hunt monsters as well as grow crops and meet people and tend to animals. It also has a variety of platforms to play it on, so find what works for you.

Overall I've been playing Harvest Moon off and on for what seems like at least 10 years. It's one of the few games that keeps getting me back into it. Kinda like the various Pokemon games and board games like Settlers of Catan.

I tried Animal Crossing, it didn't end up being as cool as I thought it would.

oh derp i confused animal crossing with harvest moon. i had a friend who played that. xD it seemed really fun.

@Blazinfox555 that makes me want to play even more ;~; maybe i'll go pick up the version for GC because that's the only one i remember.

I was talking to Adam the other day about how the GC is a very under-appreciated console. It actually had some pretty successful titles.
