How to mine and other skills?

Hey I am new, I made this account a while ago and basically have no memory of doing so. Just stumbled upon the site again and it seems pretty cool. How do I do skills like mining etc? And whats the point of this game in a nutshell?

Currently none of the skills can be used except the Forge skill (that one's used for repairing your weapons and armour that you use in the Battle System).

Pretty much what kitty said. You can forge here, the other kills are not used right now.
The point of this game... I dunno, having fun? We usually have quests during events, and more are being worked on. Apart that, the site is more a community than game site, but we do have a role-play corner if that kind of thing interests you.
