| Hello everyone, I am new here as you have probably guessed. I never really know what to write in these introductions so I just thought I would say hello. For some background knowledge about myself, I love music. My main instrument is guitar, although I can play some other instruments as well. I also love painting and photography.
Anyways, hello everyone I look forward to meeting you all.

| Hi there! If you haven't already be sure to check out the Newcomer's Help Center thread and any sticky'd topics...those are good places to start learning about the site. If you do find anything you're still having trouble with, be sure to ask and someone will be sure to answer; we're a friendly bunch here! Also may want to check out the FAQs...I don't know really I, myself, just kind of stumbled into the site when I was new here. xD;
Anyway, nice to see a new face here, I'm Sly!  I also love music and play some guitar. :O How long have you been playing? I paint too, and while I'm not skilled in photography, I do find it interesting. It's cool to see someone around with some similar interests to mine; hopefully we can become friends.

| Haha I'm not much of an instructions reader, I prefer just jumping in, but since it's not working out too well I should probably just read about the site :P
It's nice to meet you, Sly. I've been playing guitar since I was 11, but I started playing piano when I was 4 so I have been studying it for a while. I still have tons to learn, and I plan on teaching music soon. I'm certainly not skilled with photography either, and I mostly take nature pictures, but just doing that is fun! How long have you been playing guitar?

| Oh, that's cool.
I have been playing...for a couple of years.  Sooo, there's obviously a lot left for me to learn, but that's ok...even though it's a newer hobby I still really enjoy it.

| Yes, in my experience it's always better to find friendly people when you're new somewhere as opposed to not-so-friendly people. xD;
In answer to your question: my other hobbies include: writing, drawing/painting, reading (if you can count that as a hobby ) general crafting things (I make bags and dolls and such occasionally) studying and listening to music, studying psychology, walking, and of course wasting time on the interwebz.  I'm kind of a huge art nerd...and just a general nerd...but, hey, it makes me happy.~

Well then. We have a lot of the same hobbies. Everything except the crafts. I was going to mention my interest in psychology, but I did not. Not sure why. But that's really cool that we have so much in common.

The crafts thing isn't a huge hobby of mine, or rather, I don't really have the patience for it to take up more time than it does already.  I only recently got into doing a few crafts here and there just to have something else to do. My interests in things vary from time-to-time, but I always come back to the same ones eventually...despite forays into new and different things on occasion.

| I meant it in a good way xD
Well I was working with the marching band at my school (I'm in colorguard) at a stand to raise some money for our spring trip. The pay's really bad, but it will be so worth it. I had to work as a cashier because we didn't have enough adults and that was.. interesting.
