| He stayed motionless for a moment, before tearing back and clutching at his head.
"Go to Kalin!" he yelled.
"Get out of here!" he ordered her.
"Damnit, just escape from here before I kill you!"

| Anna was silent. She had no clue what to say to her cousin, didn't know if there was anything for her to say, but she didn't worry about it. She nodded, not saying anything to Rene before vanishing in a flurry of leaves.

| Rene watched her go, before growling and falling to his knees.
"Damnit... Damnit, damnit, damnit!" he cursed, as he started to violently shift through his pockets, looking for something.
When he took a small needle out of his pocket, he jabbed it in his arm, before collapsing to the floor, seeming to be out of breath and still.

| Anna appeared in Rene's den and looked around. As she did so, she paled, rather considerably. The apartment was in shambles, and there was blood on the floor and walls. It was obvious that a fight of some sort had happened, although she didn't know what exactly had happened, just that there was a fight; and that she had to make sure that Kalin was alright.
"Shit..." She cursed lightly as she made her way towards the room that looked to be in the worst shape, if the fact that the door was pretty much completely covered in blood was anything to go by.
When she opened it, she had to resist the urge to gag on the scene in front of her, but oddly enough, she was able to before making her way through the disaster and towards the unconscious redhead that was on hte floor. When she saw her, she quickly pulled her phone out and called Rene. She had to tell him what was going on, what she had found...

| Rene was jolted to reality by the tone of his cell phone. He rose to his knees and fumbled for it, before seeing it was Anna.
"Huh?" he asked as he answered the phone.
"Anna? What's up?" he asked her, before what the drow had said clicked... and he instantly became concerned.

| "Your apartment is destroyed Rene." Anna told her cousin.
"It looks like everything is busted, and Kalin is ... well... she's a mess. She may be dead, I don't know." She told him.
"I couldn't find a heartbeat quickly. Although it could just be that it's faint and I can't pick up on it, I know. But the point is, REne, get your ass, home."

| Before she even had a chance to finish the word 'home', Rene was outside the room where she was, and walking into it.
"Damnit all to hell!" he cursed to himself.
"Should have waited to clean that scene up! Left Kalin helpless and an open target." he growled, as he made his way to the woman he knew he loved.

| When the line when dead, and she heard her cousins exclamation, Anna stuck her phone back in her pocket.
"In your bedroom!" She called out to her cousin.

| Rene stormed into the bedroom, and over to Kalin.
"Stupid, stupid, STUPID!" he repeated angrily, as he started to check Kalin's vitals.
"I say I love her, but then I can't even protect her from some damn ELF!" he spat at himself.

| "Rene, relax." Anna said as she laid her hand on her cousins shoulder.
"We didn't know what would happen, so don't fret over it." she added.
"Just worry about the future, don't worry about the past." She told him, breifly and mentally, questioning why she said that. It wasn't normally something she would say, or live by, so it was odd, but she didn't dwell on it for long.

| "The bitch really did a number on her... she's barely alive still." he said.
"Our only hope is to try and get her back to stable condition, and to do it quickly." he added, before scribbling something down on a piece of paper and handing it to Anna.
"I need these 5 plants." he told her.
"If we're going to worry about the future, we need to save her's first."

| Anna accepted the page and nodded before concentrating and summoning what he had asked for. Of course, she wasn't able to do it the easiest, solely because of the fact that she was still being affected by what she had been doing all day, but she did manage to get them to her hand quickly enough.
"How much of each?" She asked as she set some down on the floor, on a pile of leaves that she had unconsciously summoned to protect them from the blood and debris.

| "8 leaves from each of the plants." he replied.
-About an hour later-
".....we've done all we can." he said to Anna, before collapsing onto the floor on his ass.
"All that's left is to see if Kalin pulls through... and I have no idea when that will be." he admitted with a sigh.

| He sighed as he looked to Kalin, before getting up and following her, sitting in one of the chairs, resting his elbows on his knees, and hanging his head some.
"Anna, I'm sorry." he said to her.
"I didn't mean to attack you or sat that you're the source of all me troubles... it was that damn drow..." he continued.
