Unlikely Allies (Ren+Amber)

[Ren Negade]

"You see, this is why you're a pain in my ass, why is that you're the only woman I know that has an issue with the way I am, hmm?" astral asked as he placed his feet upon the table and grabbed a nearby server.

"Is it because you can't accept the fact that the manliest of men wants to make you feel like a woman?"

[Amber]

Aevin just got to her feet, her eyes an ominously dark shade of red as she glared at Astral.

"You are ... fuck it. I'm heading to the room at the Inn that I got for us." She said. "Show up whenever you decide to."

[Ren Negade]

As Aevin walked off Astral couldn't help but sigh. He knew he had done something to upset her and his bravado as man wouldn't allow him to sit there knowing that he hurt the feelings of a woman he actually cared about. The thing was he wasn't exactly the best at cheering people up, if anything he was more proficient at doing the opposite.

Astral went and paid what he owed for his drinks and headed out to the market place try and find something that may cheer up Aevin. Eventually Astral came across a stuffed rabbit like creature known as a bunyun. It was white in colour and had large floppy ears that in the wild would be used to allow it to fly. Its eyes were large and round and it's tail was fluffy like cotton. It had rather small nose and large whiskers and single tooth. Seeing this Astral scooped it up and paid the merchant that was selling it.

When he arrived at the inn, Astral stood outside the door holding the stuffed bunyun before taking a deep breath and knocking on the door.

"Hey Aevin, are you decent in there?" He asked through the door.

[Amber]

Aevin growled when she heard the knocking, and contemplated ignoring it when she heard Astral's voice. She didn't know, since she knew that she had to acknowledge him. So, with a sigh, she did.

"Yes. The door is open. Not like I can stop you from coming in." She called out, adding the last part under her breath.

[Ren Negade]

"Hey, I want to apologize for earlier, I was being a real ass and the alcohol was just making it worse."Astral sighed as he came in the room holding the bunyun stuffy.

"Here, I went and bought you this as an apology." He said as he handed it over to Aevin.

Astral then leaned up against one of the walls in the room and sighed. He remembered that even as kids he was a bit of an ass towards Aevin; he would pull some sort of prank on her on a daily basis. Looking back on it Astral realized that's probably were he started losing points with Aevin and that if he would have been a little sweeter to her they'd probably be closer than they are.

[Amber]

When Aevin saw the stuffy, she nearly squeeled, and Astral would have seen her holding back.

"Thank you, but I'm used to it." She told him as she cuddled up with the stuffy.

"You don't need to apologize to me for being who you are. I've told you that several times in the past." She added "But, I won't deny that these are sweet." She had always loved when he apologized to her for something, since he always seemed to know what to do or what to give her.

[Ren Negade]

"I'm just glad that in the long run you're rather predictable when it comes to things that please you."Replied Astral.

"And in regards to me apologizing to you, I know you've told me that I don't need to multiple times in the past but thanks your brother Aiden I've kinda gained concious reflex to do so whenever I upset you, that guy scares me when it comes to him being over protective over you."

[Amber]

Aevin just smirked.

"Aiden is pretty scary. I've pissed him off before..." She agreed with a chuckled.

"Regardless.... Astral, I'm used to you being an ass. Don't worry about it." She added

[Ren Negade]

"Well I'm just glad to hear you're not mad at me."Chuckled Astral before a knock at the door.

The inn owner was outside with a letter addressed to Astral and Aevin and as such handed it over to Astral. Astral then promptly read the letter and a smile grew upon his face.

"Well well, you remember that Erika chick who gave us the information regarding the ruins?"Astral asked.

"Well apparently she has some more information regarding it that she felt we should know."

[Amber]

Aevin nodded.

"Yeah, I remember her. And what else would she have to say, I wonder." She mused as she got to her feet.

"for the record, by the way, I never once said that I wasn't mad at you." She added, a bit of a sharp tone to her voice.

"But come on, let's go." She added as she set the bunyun stuffy on the bed she had been sitting on and walked over to Astral.

She's still mad at me...Astral mentally sighed while opening the door and then proceeding to leave the inn.

Their informant, Erika lived in poor part of town that was known for thieves and ruffians who'd try to steal from those who ventured in to their neighbour hood. As they made their way through the alleys, Astral kept his hand on his sword's handle just in case they were suddenly ambushed. It didn't take long for the duo to reach Erika's home, when they arrived she was tending to some flowers and other herb like plants.

Erika was rather small girl aside from her chest which was unusually large for her size. Her skin was olive tone and she hard sharp blue eyes and ebony hair. She wore rather dark clothing n order to hide the dirt and dust one would obtain from just walking through the alley ways. Once Erika's eyes came upon Astral he quickly found himself knocked down on his back and wit her chest in his face.

"Nice to see you too Erika."Astral said although his words were muffled.

[Amber]

Aevin just rolled her eyes.

"Ericka, you summoned us here for a reason. Mind getting off him and getting to business?" She asked as Ericka seemed to snuggle up to Astral for a moment before sighing and getting off him.

"Alright..." She said before heading back to the house.

"Come on in." She added

[Ren Negade]

"That Erika, she's quite the handful."Sighed Astral as they headed in to the house.

Erika's home was surprisingly well maintained considering where it was located. The walls had multiple shelves containing books regarding various legends and stories that have been passed on through the ages. As Astral went to sit down he saw someone he presumed to be Erika's grandfather. He was rather old looking and the multiple wrinkles in his skin were good enough proof on it's own without the fact that he was as bald as a cue ball.From looking at him one could tell that his bones were brittle and that he was slowly deteriorating; seeing this Astral couldn't but be said.

"Hey gramps how are you?" Astral asked.

"Huh huh, who are you sonny?"He replied.

"My name is Astral."

"Astral you say...ah yes, you must be the one my granddaughter is obsessed over, in fact the other day she was overly cheerful and was saying that she had every intention of marrying....hmm, who is this young lady with you?"

"Ah yes, this my partner and childhood friend Aevin."

"Hmm....I see my granddaughter has quite the competition here, cause from what I an tell they're about even in the chest department."

"Yeah I guess you're right, both Aevin and Erika are well stacked aren't they?"

"Oh how I wish I was still your age my boy..."

[Amber]

Ericka didn't seem to care that her breasts were the topic of conversation, but as soon as that came up, Aevin's eyes flashed red again... and didn't revert back to their normal ice blue. Moments later, Astral felt himself being burnt as she laid her hand on his back.

"You... fucking... jackasses. How about NOT eyeing a woman's chest without express permission?" She snapped.

[Ren Negade]

"Hey ow, that freaking hurt!"Shouted Astral as he got up.

"I'm not the only one at fault here, besides, you should realize that with the way I am that's a compliment."

"Don't be too harsh on the boy Aevin, he's only young and as such when he see's someone that he thinks has a nice body he can't help but admit it."Commented Erika's grandfather.
