Posting War & MidoCraft Start

Get ready, Midoreans; our summer mini-event is about to begin! The event will be divided into two things: a Posting War, and a Midocraft contest. Both of these are fairly new concepts for us, so be sure to read this – and the event information threads – carefully.

The Posting War will randomly divide Midoreans into two teams: Team Cat and Team Chu. For four weeks, these two teams will fight for control over the forums, by nothing other than posting. More information will be posted when the event starts; but if you want to compete in the posting war, say so here so that we can get the teams sorted out now. Remember to fight hard for your team! The winning team will have a special item designed around their leader.

Midocraft is a crafting contest of all sorts: you may paint, draw, sculpt, build, sew, write – do whatever you want! While this may seem pretty normal, there are a few differences between this and previous art contests: the first being that entries from Midoreacraft will be accepted. (More on that in the event thread.) The second – and most important – big difference is that two lucky winners of Midocraft will receive an exclusive prize; but that's a secret for now.

Excited yet? The mini-event will last from Sunday, July 15 to Sunday August 12, so start preparing now!

Looks like I need to get to the craft store or unpack my jewelry supplies. I can't get on the midorea craft server at the moment anyway. My comp is down hut I can craft jewelry based on midorea items. *goes to unpack things*

Yeah, Minecraft is in no way necessary for this. It just inspired the Midocraft event, hehe. xP


Oh, and please note that if you do intend to enter Midocraft with something from Minecraft, it has to be done DURING the event, and in a specified area. Of course, the details for that will be released on Sunday. :]


Yes, Chocobo, you may still participate by posting in The Lounge; although the central hub of the Posting War will be in two City Square threads, which essentially serve the same purpose as Lounge threads.

Back to school fun I dunno. Also I found my jewelry stuff and have already made something I hope will be good enough to enter and be considered midorea related. Can't wait to show it off and see what everyone else does I will also take place in the posting war just because it seems fun.

I've been wanting to do the posting war for a while now, but the official events come first. This was the only time that it fit in, haha.

I think I know what's going to happen with the posting wars though... I'm gonna log on to find very few people on, then when I wake up in the morning there's gonna be plus a billion pages everywhere. Always happens Good luck everyone!
