Well, I really hope you like it! You've come right before a big event, so you'll have plenty of chances to meet people, and get involved (if that's what you want...). We're all friendly here, so I'm sure you'll like it.

It's just kinda..idk..way different than any other site I've been on, some of the words are harder to read on the 'explore' page because the color of the words are like..almost the same shade as the background. ; ;
Not sure about battling. ; ; I just like to talk on forums. Ha.

Well hey! I'm exactly the same way! Battling is boring for me, but boy can I yammer on.

Midorea is a lot different. We're a much closer community than most avatar sites. As for the coloring...it's part of the event. It's generally a different color palette, but Catghost just turned everything on its head, and now we're all kind of reeling and going "OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING."

Also, if the font is hard to read, highlight it. It'll pop out, and be easy to read.

Uh, I didn't notice the text problem before. I'll go see if Cat can do something about it. (As Mal said, the layout just changed, so some things are still a bit glitchy, but it should be fixed as soon as possible).

Oh it's for an event? I really do like the colors and such, was just saying it was hard to read in some places ha. The header is really pretty. I do like the avatars.

Midorea is very different from other sites, but I guess that's why we all love it so much. Using the battle system is far from necessary, however. In fact, many people don't use it unless they want a particular item or something. They just make all of their money by posting. :3
