| This is an OoC and planning thread for our soon-to-be Camelot RP, pretty self explanatory.
LINK TO RP THREAD.
Ideas we have so far:
- Original characters, with the occasional cameo of characters from the story.
- Takes place when Arthur has just become King of Camelot, and his sister, Morgana is a young witch.
- The use of magic is outlawed within Camelot's walls, as well as in its territories.
- Super secret magic society within Camelot (not sure why yet, but it's there).
- There will be dragons.

| This looks like a fun one.
Tell me, how knowledgeable are you on the tale of Thomas the Rhymer?

| You (hopefully) by now already know that I want to be included in this, but I'm just popping in here to stake my claim. xD;
I think I want to be a Druid or something like that. (Not the actual, little known, historical kind mind you, but the purely fantasy magical kind. )

| @Mal: Yup, go ahead. I'd love for you to join.
@Key: Thomas the Rhymer? Not at all, really. Except for what Wikipedia just told me. Why you ask?
@Sly: Oh, did you want to join? I think we're all full. ;P Of course I knew you wanted to join. You're the one that helped me formulate this idea. I think a druid would be a great character. Would you live within Camelot, or outside? I think the story should start when we're traveling to Camelot to join this super secret magic society. >.> Although I have no idea what I want to do with my character.
@Maeve: I was thinking of doing something non-magical myself, or maybe one that dips into dark magic occasionally? >:] I haven't decided yet. We can't all be all powerful, right? Haha.

| Mostly because I was planning on playing a descendant of the Rhymer if I was able to join in. Somewhat magical, but in more of a seer-like way.

| You guys seem all nice and helpful with your characters...a seer, a magic-y druid, a potion maker...and I'm basing my witch's skill set on spreading disease.

| Well, you'll provide a good balance for our helpful characters, Mal. After all, no world is ever comprised of all good and helpful characters. Besides, who says seemingly "nice" characters always have to be so?
Klink: Haha, I know that I was already included...but I felt a strong urge to state the obvious. =p

| I wish I could object to niceness, but I cannot. But with her natural abilities I am planning on something interesting for her.

| Well, we still need "good" people in our RP. Not all of us can have evil intentions. xP
@Mal: You have to be evil though. That's the only way you can be in this RP. ;P Haha.
Should we get started on writing our character's bios? Or should we go over some more details first? >.>

| What I am wondering is why the magic society is secret. It is one of those "magic is against the law" scenarios or something else?

| I was thinking that before Arthur became King, when his father ruled over Camelot, magic was outlawed (kind of like the BBC series Merlin, I figured it could make it more interesting). Now that Arthur is King, magic is still outlawed, but it has the potential to become a free practice in the future. So, therefore magic users have to be super secret. I should've put that under the "basic ideas" in the first post, my bad. >.>
