'holycrapohshitwhatdowedoholyCRAP,' Spencer thought as his frying pan was knocked out of the door, and that was not the extent of his mental flailing.
"Um, Melony," he whispered, fighting extremely hard (and failing a little) to keep the panic out of his voice, "what do we do?!" Spencer's hands were definitely shaking, and he was staring behind them, looking in the pitch black for any signs of movement.
"I can't see a thing," he mumbled, which only served to scare him further. "That whole door-slamming thing made noise," he noted, "They're gonna come now. Holy shit, we're gonna die. I never thought I'd die in the middle of an airport." Spencer sat down on the ground rather heavily, feeling very useless and a little regretful. He'd wasted so much of his life on stupid stuff and now that he was trying to explore the world a little, BAM zombies. Seriously world...not cool.
"I have no adrenaline," he said, "I'm weak anyway. Biggest muscle in my body's my brain, and that's not even a muscle."

"I'm here," Luce said helplessly from the other side of the door. She grabbed onto the crack and tried with all her might to pull it back open, and she was about to give up when it actually budged. The adrenaline suddenly pumped through her veins with the sign of hope and she was standing between the two doors holding them open with both arms spread apart as well as legs.
She was incredulous, but at the moment all that mattered was getting the other two through the gap, which was pretty hard with her standing there, but if she moved the doors would close, that sprung an idea into her head.
"Crawl between my legs." She said firmly, she could hear zombies approaching them as they made their mad escape and they didn't have much time. "You're gonna have to trust me."

"Spencer!" Melony whispered harshly "If you don't get through those doors I will feed you to the zombies and then you TRULY will be dead!" Not waiting for an answer she grabbed the back of his shirt roughly and pushed him down on his knees and through Luce's legs. Following shortly after wards.
Once she was through she collapsed on the other side, next to Spencer. "Let it go" she said to Luce. She sat on the floor breathing hard, trying to figure out what to do next.
"Spencer?" She asked "Spencer where are we now?"

Spencer was in too much shock to really object to the manhandling, but he cracked his head on the track as he slid out the doors, and that brought him back to the real world.
"Son of a bitch," he muttered, clutching his head as tears welled up in his eyes, "That hurt! Geez Melony, no need to be so rough." He looked up and around, taking in the zombie-less tarmac and the zombified terminal that he just left.
"Um," he muttered, still holding his head which was pounding, "We're between Terminal 5, that one" he pointed at the terminal he'd just been ejected from, "And Terminal 4," he pointed at the other one, "The international terminal. It's bigger. Also, down there," he waved in the general direction of the ground, "Is the tarmac, which is zombie-less but kind of far down. I don't know whether or not that terminal has zombies.I do know that Terminal 5 has zombies. Any other questions? My head hurts like hell right nooooow..."

| Luce stepped out from between the two doors as soon as Spencer and Melony got to the other side. She flopped on her butt and let out a sigh of relief. She had lost hope for a second and it was good to be reunited again. She stood up after regaining her breath and said, "Looks like we are going to terminal 4." she gripped tightly onto her Bo and made her way towards the fourth terminal.
Once there she picked the Bo above her head swung it into a window. "Now we don't have to deal with anymore doors." she said with a weird smile. She stepped carefully through the broken glass being careful not to stab herself in the bare foot with any glass pieces.
"Be careful of glass coming through!" she called to them as she situated herself inside the fourth terminal. she used her Bo to push some of the glass out of the way for them to come in hopefully with less of a struggle.

"I'm sorry!" Melody exclaimed to Spencer "but you weren't moving!"
She rested for a moment with Luze, trying to calm her heart that was pounding against her chest as if it was trying to break out. "How about we never, ever split up again?" she questioned
She followed Luce with her eyes as she stood and broke the glass of the windows. Sheilding her facde and eyes from the flying glass she flinced, sure that the sound of breaking glass would draw too much attention, but when there was no sight of zombies she stood up.
Melody sized up the broken window, trying to find the best way to climb through, she delicatly lifted a leg and streached it to the other side, shifting her wieght, right onto a pile of broken glass, her foot slipped and she caught herself as best she could, trying to throw herself to the other side instead of falling on the glass.
She cursed as she landed hard on her shoulder, sure it would soon be bruised. She rolled over and stood up, assesing the damage done. It cold have been worse, a shallow cut across her calf that had scraped on the glass as she fell. The worse cut was the one across her palm where she had pushed off the broken glass. Still cursing she balled her hand into a fist, trying to stanch the flow of blood.
She looked over at Spencer "watch out for the broken glass" she said, trying to smile

Spencer gulped noisily as the two women gave him the stink-eye.
"Alright, alright, I'm going," he mumbled, looking at the window in abject terror. He managed to grab onto the windowsill without slicing open his fingers, and lever himself into the terminal, landing in an ungraceful heap.
"That went better than I'd hoped," he remarked to himself. When Spencer spotted Melony's hand, he went white as paper. His hands started trembling around the frying pan as he stared at the floor.
"Um, I think you need a first aid kit," he said to Melony, "I'm pretty sure that there's one...over there." Spencer started to point in the general direction of a janitor's closet, and his grip on his frying pan came loose. The pan fell to the tiled floor with a loud clatter that echoed through the entire terminal.
Spencer froze like a rabbit, straining his ears for the hint of a zombie's moaning.

| Luce looked at Melodie's hand calculating. The sight of blood didn't freak Luce out. When she heard Spencer's suggestion she nodded and was about to say, you two stay hear, when he dropped the pan with a loud clatter. "Shit.." she muttered under her breath. She could hear some zombies, but they seemed to be coming from out the window and hands where pushing through the tiny crack that was still open in the terminal door. Surely the zombies didn't the strength they had to get it open, right? She wasn't sure, she wasn't sure about much anymore.
"Let's go find that janitor's closet and wrap up Melodie's hand before we do anything." She began to walk in the direction that Spencer pointed, expecting them to follow.

Melody cringed at the loud noise of the frying pan hitting the floor. She looked up apologetically at Luce.
"We can bandage it as we go, but I think we should keep moving, I don't know much about zombies, but staying in the same place for a long time probably isn't a good idea." She laughed "besides I've been through worse..." She trailed off, a shadow passing over her face.
She looked up as Luce walked over to the janitor's closet, and followed closely behind her

| (Oh hey, this! Apologies for the immensely long wait...I'm gonna blame school and stress)
January 3rd 6:55 pm
Spence picked up his frying pan gingerly, wincing at the slightest of noises.
"C'mon," he said, pulling Melonie along the hallway, "This way." He pushed the closet open, jumping as the hinges creaked despicably loud in the silence, and ducked into the enclosed space. He started rummaging around, looking for a first aid kit.
The eerie quiet was disturbing, so Spence tried (and failed rather miserably) to make small talk.
"So, considering the fact that there don't seem to be any zombies in this terminal, why'dya think that it's empty and dark?" Spence located the first aid kit, and opened it on his knees. He grabbed a napkin, wet it, and ran it over Melonie's palm. He then started pulling various things out of the kit, and got to work fixing Melonie's palm back up.

First Luce made sure there was a small crack in the door so that she could see if any zombies were coming, and enough light could filter in for Spence to work on Melonie's hand. After doing so she retreated to the corner of the closet and peered out the doorway. She rested her bo on it's side and pulled her knees up to her chin. She watched closely as Spence patched Melonie up, she didn't know if she would have to do so herself in the future so she figured the experience of watching could be helpful.
She didn't respond to Spence, her nerves were too high and noise was freaking her out. After a few seconds of silence she found her eyes wandering the small closet. She looked up at the ceiling and saw an air duct. It looked wide enough to fit humans inside.
"We need to get out of this terminal.." she muttered. In a small motion she stood up and surveyed the shelves that held different cleaning supplies on them. "We could climb up these shelves and get through that duct, it has to lead to the outside.." she said and looked over at Spence and Melonie, "What do you think?"

Melony tried to keep from wincing every time Spencer touched her hand. She breathed in and out slowly, trying to distract herself from the pain by trying to answer his question.
"Really, you think that in the middle of New York somebody..." She trailed off again, a horrible thought hitting her. "Spencer?" She asked, her voice quivering "what if...what if nobody is coming to get us? What if they have locked the place down and won't let anybody in....or....out?"
She pulled her hand back when he had finished, flexing it slightly, it really wasn't that bad, she could still use it, as long as she didn't put direct pressure on the cut.
Melony looked at the shelves and the air duct, the shelves looked a bit too rickety for her liking, but....what else was there. "I...I think that might be the easiest way, do you think the....you know, would be smart enough to crawl through them?" She shivered at the idea of meeting a zombie in such confined quarters. "But even if we get out....what will happen then?" Despite her biting her lip tears started to well up in her eyes, she just wanted to be back home, wrapped in her mother's protective arms. But you're not she thought to herself, so stop acting like a child

Spencer finished wrapping Melonie's hand up, then stared at the ground.
"I-i dunno guys, air ducts are kinda...weak," Spence stuttered, "And they're confusing, and small, and loud, and sometimes go straight up or straight down, and even if they do go outside, we probably wouldn't be able to get down because they generally let out on the roof. Going up. And yea...I can't climb that well." he said all this very quickly, and finished by studying a miniscule piece of dirt on his foot.
"I mean, I don't think we're alone. Like...I was watching th' news before...y'know, this happened, and no one was freaking out. They prob'ly don't know that we're in here, tha's all. So if we ever get out, we'll probably get book deals, and video games or somethin' like that." We just gotta get out first, he added mentally, and that doesn't look very good right now. Spence shuffled his feet a bit, chewing his lip.
"Guys..." he started, before losing his confidence. "Never mind. No, wait, don't never mind. Why don't we just...go to sleep. Like, leave a watch up or something, but our biggest problem right now is that we can't really see 'em, right? Why not wait until there's actually light?"
