| The next day at work was quite uneventful for Rhadamanthys. A few more schedule changes, a staff meeting, nothing of note really. Just a blur of hours and minutes.
He couldn't help but worry about how Daniel was doing. He had informed all his teachers that he would not be in school for the next few days and would need all the work that he would have to get done by his return, and they understood, putting it together and giving it to a kid that lived down the street from him for delivery. It turns out that this kid had done this job a few times for a few different reasons.
And after that, more schedule changes. He looked over at his fish, which was swimming contentedly in its bowl. It had no worries, just making its way around the bowl again and again and again. Rhadamanthys sighed. He shouldn't be worried either. The kid is most likely fine.
