Indeed, puppies. They're expected some time in the next few days. Hopefully it won't be another after midnight set of births. I don't think I'd be able to survive it, and carmageddon, and work.

They're american bulldog puppies, just so you know.

Hm, anyway, sorry for not being much active in RPs right now. I dunno, I'm just feeling weird... Nothing really bad, but just, yeah, art/writing-block-ish... I'll try to post more often, but I can't (or don't want to) promise anything.


Also, I've been pondering on a few things to help make the forums (and this thread) more active. Feel free to share your ideas if you have any.
One of the options I'm thinking about right now is monthly role-play (or seasonal, maybe). Basically, it'd just be a simple role-play that will last a month (or whatever period we choose). At the end, some prizes could be awarded. The role-play itself would be closed after that, but anyone would be free to take the same concepts and re-use them in another game if they feel like it. Obviously, it would require some active players to work...
So yeah, anyone interest?

I like this idea, Maeve ^^ That would be fun.
And maybe, as a challenge, we would have to do the roleplay so that it ends a but like a story, all nicely wrapped up but with a bit of a cliffhanger to leave us thinking? It probably would be a bit difficult to do that in a set time frame, but it would be a fun challenge.

Yup, in a perfect world, I'd like to get some sort of ending at the end of each game, and not just a "everyone suddenly stopped existing" kind of ending.
But, maybe, when the end of the allowed time comes close, the players could meet (most likely in this thread), and come up with some "open" ending, or something like that, if they realize they're not gonna reach the real end of the story. Dunno if it makes any sense...

Anyway, gonna see how things go in the next few weeks, and maybe we can try this at the beginning of August.

So, yeah, I'm going to be pretty swamped in the awake department. I'll still be plotting, but it going to take me a while to get anything awesome out.

I've not given up on any of the roleplays I'm in, nor the Dreamers roleplay. But between the puppies, work, and the derptihystamines I've been taking for my allergies, I'm not exactly the best writer. Heee.
