| Well, check me out. Many (most, probably), in this day and age won't recognize me. It may have been a longer-ish time since I've been here (upwards of a year or so?) and I was shocked to find I couldn't have my old account back.
...
Oh well.
I am different now, anyways. Not different in that I'm wearing different clothes or sitting at a different computer (although those are also true :3), different in that I am something of a different person.

Listen to me, talking like I get a parade or something for my triumphant return. LOL Lemme just (re)introduce myself.
My name is Grimer (yes, the Pokemon), formally known as TheMountainScene (or Mountain, for short). I was a pretty big contender in the RP forums, and spent most of my time there while I was here. Long story short, some things happened, changed houses, went to college, engaged my woman, found two jobs, found my calling, and the rest is something of a long, boring, self-centered story that I'd be happy to tell anyone who's interested.
(Nobody is really that interested)
It was kind of difficult finding the forum again (this one being my long-lost favorite :3) because I couldn't remember the name :P. You'd think a name like Midorea would stick but for some reason it didn't come to me until a few days ago. It was pretty exciting and then less so when I couldn't log in again...
(Tangent)
Sorry. Anyways, I am interested in Role-playing. 3rd Person Omniscient is my preference, and I specialize in Fantasy, Horror, and Science Fiction. However, I have been told I display at least proficiency in all genres and will happily role-play in any forum I happen to get lucky enough to find my way in to.
If you couldn't tell already, I prefer a more verbose, detailed, story-like style.
I can also be pretty brief, if you're into that sort of thing.
(I guess)
Moral of the story, here I am. I'm new, I'm old, I'm not going anywhere for a long, long time.
Now if only I could bring my stories back from the dead...
