| I kept my hair long because my dad told me to. ._. Which is why I'm cutting it now, years after he's out of my life. XD I guess it was a weird way of holding on.

| Well as soon as he was out of my life I cut it off again. People think I am all butch dike and I am like no I just prefer my hair short because I have a skin condition this helps for it not to flare up.

| I can't really give any good input on this as I've always sort of gone between shoulder-length hair, at the longest, and very short styles. (I guess it's a good thing that you've already made a choice then, huh?  ) The first time I got my hair cut shorter though, I was about 8 or 9 years old, and the lady asked me what length I'd like my hair to be; after a bit of discussion, we decided chin-length would be nice.... She cut my hair to my cheek bones, not my jaw-line. I was like "WHERE'S MY HAIIIRRRR!?!"  XD But that was a long time ago, and now I quite enjoy having my hair short, honestly it just suits my look better, I think....I'm lucky though, in that my hair is thick and easy to style in just about any way I choose. Because of this, though, it is kind of a pain to keep long...should I ever choose to do that again. >.>;

| Eh that was me being random after I took my shower. For some reason when my hair is wet it shows the dye that's in it a hell of a lot better.

You have to show us tomorrow as soon as you can. 
And my whole life (except when I was a small kid and mom kept my hair short) I had long hair, and it never really went any shorter than about my shoulders.
Most of junior high and high school, it was long, and down past the middle of my back through high school.
Then at the end of my first semester of college, I decided to try something different and chopped it all off.
To a pixie cut. VERY short.
Of course I was a little nervous, but more excited, really.
And everyone liked it and said it suited me. I liked it too.
But I also like having long hair.
So now what I do is grow my hair long (usually about to the middle of my back), then when I get tired of it, cut it all off, then grow it long again, and on and on...
I've done that several times now, and it generally takes a couple of years to get very long again.
Right now, it's to my chin, and I'm actually trying a slightly new style.
A slanted bob, which I haven't done before.
It's almost long enough to do a dramatic slant. ^^
Senior year, long hair (Err, don't mind the serious look... I wasn't mad or anything, I was just... trying to find where my mom was, who was taking the pic, because I didn't have my glasses and couldn't see crap >>)

I'm glad you're going ahead with it, because I think everyone should try something different at least once with their hair.
And the thing is, you'll never know if you'll like it unless you try!
And it's just hair... if you don't like it, it'll grow back. ^^

| That's a really nice cut for you, Chu. I'd say that it was a good idea to get your hair cut; it looks great! And you and your little sister are cute together.  (I mean that in a completely non-creeper-like way.  )
