Hm, anyway, I'll be updating the first page of this thread with info an stuff soon. Anything post in the 2nd post (GM's notes) is important and is sorta part of the rules, so be sure to check it from time to time (it's nothing big, just precision on some things, but I'll consider you know them and act accordingly).

Right I was supposed to make a crazy scientist type character for this wasn't I. I shall read through what has been going on so far and If the crazy I have cooked up will work out. Another reason is because I need to see if I am still able to rp crazy I miss attempting crazy. Think mad hatter crazy if you want an example. So off to read up make a char and see where I fit in and also post in some other rp I haven't posted in for some time.

Well I am stuck on the whole scientis thing seeing as she is more of and inventor/mechanic now that tends to blow things up when she is inventing them. Also most people think she is crazy as a loon despite her ability at fixing there equipment and such.

I'll skip to the next day later today (which shouldn't last long since it's mostly a preparation day for all those wishing to join the exploration team). So I'll leave people time to make one post saying what they are doing, then the meeting/ introduction to the exploration site will happen, then a small time skip so that everyone has learned their job/ get to know the site and the other members of the team/ gather information/ whatever else they are supposed to do. And then the real game should start...

I'm gonna try to move this game faster from now on (well, faster than "not-moving" shouldn't be too hard anyway). Sorry for sorta letting this go down.

So yeah, if you want to start plotting what will happen to your character during the time skip (roughly a 2 weeks jump), PM other player(s) to match your story, etc., feel free to start doing so. I'd like to be done with the first meeting by the end of the weekend, but of course I need people to be active for that.

Name: Valencia Stormweather (AKA) Val or Stormy
Sex: Female
Age: 25
Faction: Scientists
Occupation: Mechanic and inventor of sorts
Description: Val is 5”6’ lanky and thin, she keeps her red hair quite short saying it is troublesome otherwise. Her eyes are two toned one being amber the other green which startles most people when they first look at her. She wears what she considers to be comfortable clothing for her job: A black wife beater, black leather pants, and black boots with a green over coat when she isn’t working on something, which she normally is so this isn’t seen often. She also wears a large pair of over sized goggles on her head which most people find rather odd. She is rather quiet preferring not to talk much if at all unless it’s to herself. She is also according to several people insane. Though to what extent they won’t say. Basically she is convinced the ruins hold some sort of magic power though there is no such thing as magic in the world she has convinced herself that there is and even keeps with her what she calls a magic rock. It is of course just a normal rock but Val will argue otherwise every time. Also she has been known to cause several explosions when inventing something of her own another reason people deem her insane.
Biography: Valencia Stormweather grew up in the lap of luxury. Her father being a man of wealth made sure she had a proper education and knew everything there was to know about being a proper lady in high society and the like. The only problem was Val hated every minute of it and would lose her tutors as soon as she could preferring to learn how to fix things and make things. When she learned of a university for scientists and how to build things better she begged her father to let her go. He agreed reluctantly and she went. While there she showed exceptional skill in being able to repair items that were already created and just broken. Her own inventions however had explosive tendencies. It was her ability that to fix things that landed her, her job at the expedition site seeing as the excavation tools need constant repair. She has been there a little over a month now and despite her apparent crazy talk of magic has fit in rather nicely with the other people even if they do fine her crazy as a loon.
