Assuming people collect books like me. o3o

Well actually I like collecting a lot of little things. Books aren't actually one of the big ones though. But I can not help getting excited by a few awesome types of books!
I used to have a lot of books, but with two big moves, its been a bit smaller. So right now it's quite a lame butt.

Recently I've been getting into old/antique and foreign language books.
Well I've liked them anyway but now I've actually been getting some. o3o
And I love being in used book and thrift stores finding neat little gems. :3
A month or so ago I found and got for $3 each, two 1940's books in DANISH! Yup! I dunno what they're about though, should look them up. xD And I also have an old [must go check the date] Alice in Wonderland book.

With book related collections, I have a few Alice in Wonderland stuff, and A Series of Unfortunate Events stuff [oh you have no idea, till I get pics].

I *think* I have old photos of my bookcases full of stuff in which I will go find. Right now, my only one here is more of DVDs and such besides books. But I'll take some pics of that too. ^^

[I'll go get/find some pics for another post]

So, lets discuss your book collections.
What type of books can you not resist getting? Your favorite books you have?
And of course, lets post pics of the collections! 8D

My book collection consists of a variety of manga, foreign language text books geared for self teaching, foreign language dictionaries,a variety of math text books ranging from geometry to college trigonometry, some English textbooks, History textbooks (Western Civ, Early US History), Self Help books on writing and drawing, some art books and a few children's books (my favorite is a French Fairy Tale called The Whit Cat)

I think that's about all there is...I'm sure that I'm missing a few more. I keep most of the textbooks and self help book in boxes while all the manga is on the book shelf...I need a bigger one, but I'm waiting till later on to get it.

I think my favorites are instructional ones on arts and crafts like making bracelets, and other jewlery, and I've got a few on knitting as well. I'm also prone to buying classic books, and mangas as well. I do like the occasional self help book to...I tend to get them for keeping in shape. They work when I stay diligent~

I have too many books. I just got rid of, probably, close to 50 old books, because we just didn't have the room for them. We have hundreds of cookbooks, a lot of childrens book, a few classics, a few reference books, a crapload of manga(250+), humor books, drawing books, art books, craft books, a little bit of everything. I felt bad to do it, but I got rid of my collection of old books about 6 months ago. Didn't feel too bad since I got them for free and the person wanted them to fill a library or bookshelf or something.

In my bookshelf there's not that many books but those I have I love. Most of them are fantasy, such as Catherine Fisher's trilogy "The Snow-walker's Son", Clive Barker's "Abarat", and some more recent ones like "The House of Night"-series and "Hush, Hush" as well as some of Stephen King's books, old as new. That's about it.
I just love reading in english (I'm swedish), so may of my books are english. Besides, reading them in their original language diminish the chance of the translators messing the story up, hehe.
I also enjoy thrillers and mystery books.
