| Adrian walked up to the warehouse, hefting his overloaded bag, muttering to himself about the recent eruption of work from school, choosing to ride the bus to finish most of it. Watching the men walking from the warehouse out of the corner of his eye, memorizing every aspect of them and their transport, he made his way to the entrance, stepping inside and quickly scanning the area. It seems the only one shaken is Jade... Perhaps another acquaintance of hers.
He nodded as he approached the dispersing group, nodding to each in turn, smiling as he looked over Drei's costume, giving a thumbs up, sure that, since the men had just left, the end of the conversation he was approaching must have been about them. Making a note to ask around later, he said his hellos around the group, waving to those out of speaking range as he made his way toward the changing room, taking a deep breath and reaching out mentally, trying to sense Andrew.

| "Hmmm...an old flame who's investigating us, huh? Well, I now know what to do when I see em around." Drei couldn't help but give a thumbs up right back to Adrian for taking notice. "Well...at least the costume served it's real purpose. Making an excuse to get away from mom. Try to take it easy, Jade..perhaps I can light those once I start my training...and don't worry about it, Viola. That's just something I'll have to introduce to all of you once we actually have some downtime...but with the way things are, I know that won't happen anytime soon." With a laugh, Drei walked into the locker room so he may change out of his costume and transform. Then he went to the shooting range to train on both his aiming, and his ability to control his two flaming swords.

| The two men had left, and Jade had gone out to talk to her pari about the two guys who'd just barged in. Judging by the reaction she'd exhibited, there was a history with god only knew how many stories behind it between Jade and the guy who'd been talking to Cyrel before being summarily dismissed. It was a feat he'd never seen Cyrel do before, and apparently this "Ivan" had been taken aback by it too, immediately losing the initiative in the conversation. Then Drei had burst in with his typical bluster and the two men left.
With Jade busy explaining things, no one had noticed Andrew slip out the back door. As soon as he heard the click of the latch, the air around him burst into ice, frost spreading across the ground away from him with snowdrifts appearing on the outer edges of his aura. Fully transformed, Andrew lost no time in swathing himself in his illusions.
Pulling his power around him like a cloak, he muttered, "Inversion Aura," before releasing his quickly pent up energy. The air around him shimmered and warped, blurring his outline and fading his figure somewhat from view.
"Silent Snowfall" he said as he moved quickly around the side of the warehouse into the bushes ringing the property, wreathing himself in silence as he moved through the brush to get a better view of the two men as they moved to their car. He could get Ivan's full name from any of the girls in the warehouse it seemed, but the detective would be a bit harder to pin down. Quickly memorizing the license plate and model of the car they were climbing into. As they pulled out of the drive, Andrew moved along with them, ghosting through the underbrush on the side of the road, trying to get a better view of the other man. Casting his mind out he skimmed the quickly fading thought clouds of the two men, largely disappointment and a twinge of sadness, with an underlying tone of suspicion radiated from the rapidly receding vehicle. Andrew tried for a name, but the car was already too far away, and without another magical source to zoom in on, that specific car quickly vanished into the buzz of the city background.
With a sigh, he retreated back into himself and began to walk back to the warehouse. A few steps later he stopped suddenly and cocked his head, eyes closed in concentration. For the briefest moment he'd felt a lingering trace of a magical being, the faintest magical imprint, before it faded away completely.
"Lynn," he asked "was there anyone else out here? Something doesn't feel right..."
"Not as far as we are aware. No one has been here aside from you all and those two men. What did you feel?"
"...Nothing I guess. I must just be worried."
"Don't you be evasive with me child. I know when you're not telling me something."
"And yet even if I wasn't there's nothing you can do to make me tell you so relax. It's nothing."
"You are extraordinarily difficult to deal with sometimes, do you know that Andrew? Extraordinarily difficult.
"I'm sure I have no idea what you're talking about." he replied, rounding the corner to the back of the warehouse to go back inside. Heaving another sigh, Andrew realized that in his haste, he hadn't controlled his transformation very well, leaving the backdoor to the warehouse frozen shut.
"Well that won't do." he stated to the world, holding out a hand in front of him, the ice melting away under it. Once the door thawed enough to open, he transformed back into his regular clothes, and quietly went back inside.
Coming around the corner from the back hallway into the main room, he was struck by his Pari's mental presence.
Stop searchin' for me. I'm right here, and there's no sense in tiring yourself out so soon. We've got a lot of training to do.
The brief telepathic exchanges between him and Adrian were a good mark of improvement, but they still taxed his pupil much more than they did him. Coming to a stop by his student, he was about to begin explaining what they were going to do today when Cyrel came bounding up saying Jade needed to talk to him.
"Oh... well then... um. Ok, Adrian, I want you to go ahead and practice creating your illusion for a bit, don't forget to pay attention to every detail. When I get back we'll see how you're doing." With that he left his pari to work and quickly walked back to the locker room to see what Jade needed.
From the looks of things, no one had even noticed he'd left, which was good. when they finished up here for the day, he'd have some digging to do to get a clearer picture of who "Ivan Proctor" and his friend really were. He could always just ask Jade, but then he couldn't be sure how much of what she knew was true and how much was just a cover story.

| Jade sat on the bench, nursing her injured foot. Upon Andrew entering she tried to stand, only to put too much pressure on the foot again and fall back onto the bench, hissing a series of expletives, ending with "Ffffffucking hell." She looked up at Andrew who appeared to be holding back a smirk, but she couldn't prove it so she just pursed her lips. "Shit hurts. No joke. Anyway...uhm. Those two guys that came in...one of them was Ivan. I'm sure you got that. I dunno the other guy. I told Cyrel that Ivan's threats to come back here were empty, but I dunno that for sure. He seems a bit more...serious. I've never seen him like that. And even if he can't come back, it won't keep him from sending surveillance. So could you and Adrian possibly...make it harder for them to find this place?"
----------------------
Cindi's expression softened a bit at the sound of Bella's voice. It was tired and weak...not like the Bella she knew at all. She looked to Aiden, who wasn't showing it outwardly, but he could feel it too...and in a sense worse than Cindi could. But at the mention of the plan, Cindi lit up and clapped her hands once, happy to have something positive to talk about. "Oh! So!" Cindi went and tugged at Bella's hand sitting her down on the bed. "You ready? Okay! Brace yerself...Kidnapping!" Cindi gave a small jump and raised her hands in the air, but illicited no excitement from Bella, only minor irritation that she'd touched her. "N-no? Oh, right, touchin'. My bad. Anyway!" Cindi turned to Aiden, scooting next to him, as if to use him as a visual aid. "While ya been gone, Aiden and I have planned to kidnap one'a the other magical bitches. That's why we followed that chick. I have this neat lil' trick I learned here...Aiden, if you would?"
Aiden seemed to shrug as Cindi positioned him in the center of the room. Cindi went and stood next to him, taking one of his hands gingerly, and cupping them with both hands, focusing intently. There was a soft white glow emitting from her hands, which then moved throughout the rest of her body, until she was completely covered. The glowing light began to shimmer, and once it seemed as if it was going to break, the glow burst into gardenia petals. But Cindi was nowhere to be seen. What stood in her place was another Aiden. The second Aiden let go of the real Aiden's hand and faced Bella, who seemed frozen to the bed.
"Ta-da!" The second Aiden did a little spirit finger motion, and then took a bow, smiling widely. Bella's expression seemed to change again, and the second Aiden (who had by now proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that it was Cindi under there) laughed. "Heh, yeah. I c'n change the outside, not the inside. Still neat though." Cindi snapped Aiden's fingers and the "skin" fell away like white petals that faded into the floor. Cindi gave a stretched and grinned, fanning herself a bit. Only complaint about that, those things don' breathe! Gets stuffy, ya know?" She looked around to see Bella gawking at her and Aiden was facing the complete opposite direction from her. "Hm? 'sa matter? And why is there a bree--oh..." Cindi looked down to find that she had no clothes on her person, except her fuchsia and black lace bra and panties. "Man, I'm never gonna get that part right! Good thing I brought a change of clothes..." She reached for her large purse and pulled out another sweater dress and black leggings and pulled them both on. "Mkay, now that I'm decen'. Anyway, with that lil' trick, we're gonna jump that chick on her way there. I'ma take her place in the warehouse, while y'all take her to Aiden's or Bella's, dependin' on who's parents aren' home, and get some info tomorrow. After you drop her off, you an Max'll stake out near the bus stop, while I get some info on what all inside. By the end of the day tomorrow, I'll try to lead them outta the warehouse to the stop where y'all are, and we'll into the city in different directions, so make sure to bring yer scooter for me to use, 'cause I don' run that fast an' I can' skateboard like Max can. They'll get split tryin' to catch three of us, and even better, it's Halloween weekend! places'll be crazy crowded, with everyone in costume! And people'll be dressin' up like magical people anyway, so they'll lose each other in the crowds, makin' it super easy to get the jump on 'em!"
And for me to take out that Viola...
"Anyway, Aiden? I miss anything?"

| Aiden shook his head. "No. The entire plan seems in place, really. We just need to work on where to put Aimee. My house will not be available to keep her in, though. We'll need to find somewhere else."
He was still a little shocked by the transformation ability that Cindi had shown. It was a little strange looking at himself when it wasn't actually him. And that would come in handy for the plan they were about to pull off. If they were careful, they could do the switch without anybody noticing foul play. Yes... this would work. It would work very well...
------------------------------------
Seeing both of her pari go off to train independently, Viola went back to the coil room. Drei had reminded her of something- it was almost halloween and she didn't have a costume. Now she had to work on something. They had somewhat discussed how they would make each other visible by having their trinkets glow, but hers was much too dark to emit light. Every time she tried, she almost burned herself with how hot the cameo became.
For now, though, she would work on her shield. It was pretty perfect, but there was always room for improvement.

| "I suppose my house will have to work. Seeing as my,parents will be out of town till Monday. Though I am a little opposed at having an enemy so close." She said her tone of voice still distant as if she would rather not be there.
"If we are finished I really need to get home. I have some things I need to work on." She said after a small bit of silence. It wasn't true she had nothing to work on she just wanted to be alone. Since her grandfathers death she had become even more impersonal than before, even towards the people she had actually allowed to get somewhat close. Of course that really only counted Aiden in this case.
"You know how to reach me. Just call when your ready for me to do my part." She said getting up from where Cindi had pulled her onto the bed to sit.

| Cindi's enthusiasm did nothing to elevate Bella's mood, and Aiden, stuck in his pride, still said nothing. All the emotions in the room were beginning to slowly manifest inside her: two different kinds of longing aching inside both Aiden and Bella, ebbing and flowing throughout the room. Cindi had done all she could to keep the mood light, but she knew that at this rate it wouldn't be long before she'd start feeling bad too.
"Bella." When Cindi spoke her name, she said it with her natural accent, an Italian she could never quite get rid of since she moved to the states.
"Se sentir mieux. Okay?"
Cindi's cast her eyes to Aiden, shooting a message. She wasn't sure if Aiden could receive her messages or not, but now was as good a time as ever to try.
Hug her or something, dammit! The thought wasn't loud, but she attempted to convey a sense of authority and seriousness with it, like an order. But ultimately, it was up to Aiden if he would comply.

| Taking a deep breath and nodding his head as he received his instructions, clearing his mind as he moved to the locker room, Adrian began to imagine the illusion he would craft, eyes flicking to Jade's greenhouse. Perhaps a crystalline forest... Why hold to reality... He set down his bag realizing that it was entirely too large and awkwardly shaped to fit in a locker in one piece, and so was left on the floor under a bench.
"While a good exercise, perhaps a fictional place made to suit reality would provide better training." Richter's voice dripped through the back of Adrian's mind, a soothing sensation, putting him at ease and reinvigorating him. "While a fantasy setting would prove disorienting and distracting, it would immediately give away the illusion. Not to put too fine a point on it, but you do not yet posses the power to truly force someone to believe such a setting."
Releasing a sigh, Adrian nodded, understanding completely the reasoning and accepting the need to improve his ability to replicate reality first. Right again Richter, right again... Why do I get the impression that you and the messengers of some of the other Magical individuals bear... distinct differences in many ways? His rhetorical question goes unanswered as he pulls out his gilded pen, concentrating on his costume as he releases his power, the suit forming around him. He stood in front of a mirror, examining himself, giving a satisfied nod before exiting and heading into the study, nodding or waving to all he passed.
Drawing a chair up to the window of the study, looking out across the warehouse workspace, preparing in his mind a scene, having decided on an almost empty subway station, no more than twenty people moving on their ways or taking up residence on a bench. His eyes traced the area, building the scene, imagining each detail, the texture of the old brick walls, the shuffling echo of feet as a business man hurries to catch his train, the smell of the cheap food wafting from the stalls of vendors, the light swinging of lamps as trains charge through below, shaking the floor, horns blaring as the air is ripped by speeding metal, the almost palpable smell of a bedraggled man in rags, a pile of newspapers and bottles hoarded away in a corner behind a rubbish bin, the ancient janitor sweeping softly near the entrance. The side rooms transformed into offices and private rooms, the study becoming the director's office, needing very little change, replacing most of the books with loose papers.
He closed his eyes, holding the scene in his mind waiting for his Sene before releasing it, reality contorting, people materializing, some taking seats, some staring at schedules, others hurrying or shuffling to their destinations, Adrian sitting perfectly still, all of his attention devoted to the illusion.

| Bella stood there for a moment contemplating what Cindi had just said. She really wasn't sure how to react to being told to feel better. It was different than how her parents had been towards her. All they could ask was if she was ok and why she wouldn't talk to them.
"Feel better what makes you think I should feel better?" She asked after a few moments turning to face the other two in the room instead of having her back towards them. "I am fine I don't need to feel better." She lied her voice almost sounding angry compared to the distant tone she had been using before. She still felt there was no reason for her to tell them why she had been acting the way she had. She,would of course but only if asked and she hoped neither would seeing as both would probably find her foolish.

| Aiden sighed as Cindi's voice rang in his head again. How did she... well, she was definitely socially trained. She could most likely pick up emotional nuances better than Max, Bella or him. Hopefully nobody else picked up what he was really feeling, because he was still unsure as to what to do with his feelings. He had a feeling that trying to hug Bella as Cindi ordered wouldn't end well for him if she didn't reciprocate his feelings.
"Bella..." Aiden started. He was unsure as to what to say. "You haven't been acting like yourself as of late..." He sighed again, glancing away for a brief second before looking back at her. "What's going on?"

| "Remember the day I left and didn't say anything. Well my grandfather died." She said getting straight to the point and not taking any short cuts to what was wrong with her. She looked down at the floor not really sure what else to say for a minute.
"I know my actions probably seem stupid seeing as it was just the death of a family member. We were close though every boxing move I know he taught me. He was the one person that knew me better than anyone. The only tie I felt I had with humanity and now that's gone." She said sighing and sitting back down on the bed rather heavily. There were tears at the corners of her eyes but she wouldn't let them fall.
She looked at both Aiden and Cindi unable to really gauge their reactions to what she had just said. She sighed looking back down at the floor again wondering what they would say.

| Cindi felt all of Bella's emotions full force. She could not cry though, even though she wanted too, because she knew that would not make the situation any better, if anything, only worse. Aiden stood deathly still, seemingly at a complete loss for words. She wanted to send him another message, but it was still a bit early in her training, so she could only manage the one for now, unless she wanted another migraine. She wiped her eyes and sat down on the bed next to Bella, just as heavily. Sighing heavily, she gingerly reached around Bella, lightly grasping her shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. She sat there in silence for a minute or two, soaking up all of the emotions that were swelling in the room, sifting through them, altering the words she was about to say, knowing it would make a difference.
She looked up at Aiden, who was clearly feeling the most emotion he'd felt in what seemed to be quite awhile. He seemed unsure as to what to do, how to properly react to Bella's news and comfort her, if he could bring himself to do so at all. She looked to Bella, who was still struggling to hold back tears.
"Aiden. Come sit over here, next to her please." Cindi's voice was strained and quiet, and practically devoid of the usual slur with which she spoke. Aiden complied, even though it took him awhile to actually move. While Bella and Cindi had practically plopped down on the bed, they could barely feel when he sat down. Once he sat down, Cindi smiled weakly. "Thank you. Bella," she began, "First, lemme go ahead and say this: I'm not going to pretend I know exactly what you're going through. While I feel your emotions a good deal of the time, I've never lost a loved one. So on that, all I cn' do is give you my shoulder if you need it. But, I do know how much pain you've been in lately, even though I didn' know why. You've carried this heaviness with you for the past couple of weeks. But you refused to tell me. And...that's fine. You don' really know me that well. We've really only just met. It is really only because I feel what you feel when I'm nearby that I know you like I do. So I kinda 'spected you wouldn' tell me what was goin' on."
She leaned down and in, to see Bella's face, whose stare was still planted firmly into her lap. "...Why didn' you at least tell Aiden? You know 'im. You trust 'him. Dammit, you like him. Which is a helluva lot more than you can say for me, or Max, or anyone else at school for that matter."

| Bella accepted the closeness of Cindi and Aiden even accepting of the hug Cindi had given her. Normally she wouldn't have but with how she was feeling fighting it would have just tired her out even more. She listened to what Cindi had to say surprised at what she said.
At the last statement though Bella looked up at Cindi with an almost angry look on her face. It was actually a more of why would you fucking say that while he's in the room sortsort of look but still angry."There was no reason to tell him about it at the time." She said regaining some of her composure after the look she had given to Cindi. "Besides even if I had told him before he asked there was no reason for him to have cared about it." She continued after a moment of thinking how to continue.
Cindi had just given away her feelings for him at least somewhat. She was certain though that he most likely did not feel the same despite his coughing fit at what she had said about her first transformation. She sat there for another few moments finding nothing more that she could say nor finding anyway that she could deal with her feelings so she just went back to looking at the floor after adjusting her glasses.

| Aiden sighed, trying to figure out what to say. While what she said was partially true, he would've liked to know. "Bella. I can understand why you would think that, but I did read somewhere about emotions and how they affect the way people work. If you would've told me all of this, I could've understood exactly why you were acting the way you were instead of being left in the dark. I will admit. I've been worried about you. We've been working together for quite some time now- longer than I usually work with another person, and I like to know when something is wrong."
As Aiden said all of this, he took a deep breath, hoping what he said made any sort of sense. He wasn't used to pouring out the way he felt like this, but he could finally see that Cindi was about to explode if they didn't do something about it. Aiden always had a hard time with emotional matters, and instead chose to keep it all to himself, venting it out in his projects instead of sharing it with others. Even during his sessions with Ms. Esperanza he kept most of his feelings in, looking calm and in control on the outside. And most of the time he was. He didn't really feel strongly about things very often.
But with Bella, it was different. When she was around he felt... strange, but in a good way. He still didn't exactly understand what this feeling was, exactly. Cindi, though, seemed to understand everything. Like she knew him better than he did. And that in itself was sort of eerie.

| Bella sat there uncertain how to take what Aiden had just said. Cindi had been right when she had told her that Aiden was worried. She couldn't figure out why he would be worried though. When it came to emotions she was uncertain of her own half the time. Hiding behind anger for the most part seeing as it wasn't complicated like most others. That or just being withdrawn away from people so she wouldn't have to deal with emotions at all.
Now though she wasn't sure what to do the past couple of weeks had turned her into a mess. The greif of her grandfathers death accompanied by her unknown feelings towards Aiden had thoroughly confused her. She finally looked at him not sure what to say at first. "Cindi said you were worried about me earlier. I assumed she was wrong and you were more worried over the plan. I guess for once I was wrong." She said after a few more moments of silence sighing afterward. She was at a loss for anything else to say though seeing as she never really talked much in the first place.
