| I think kids should get a well rounded education. If you only learn things for your desired job then if you change your mind you're screwed and have to start over. Plus people need to know a variety of things to continue in normal social conversation. Plus so many topics relate to other topics. For example in my major of art history we need to know history, geography, fine arts, sociology, psychology, philosophy, foreign languages and a variety of other things just to properly learn the material.
