((Oh its fine, want to timeskip a few days after a few more posts? you know to get things moving?))

Nodding slightly sensing the terseness in her, he felt the sincere move back to simply polite. He could almost see the rebellious stubborn streak from yesterday starting back up. Hopefully he was simply imagining it though, he'd thought they'd reached an understanding yesterday. Glancing back at his father as she offered to show him around he caught the subtle 'go on' hand gesture and nodded before looking back at her. "Lead the way Madam."

They walked in mostly silence aside from her naming a room here and there. Demiren studied his new home, thinking of improvements and things that needed to be done along with picking out some private spots where he could find some quiet time. Speaking of which he needed to check that at least some of his collection had made it over. Hard to have quiet time when you had nothing to read.

((Sounds good to me ))

She showed Demiren around their new home. She already knew where everything was seeing as her family used to come here every summer. After she finished showing him around she took him back out to the courtyard where is appeared that their fathers where finishing up their discussion. "Well I am off now my dear daughter. Enjoy your time here both of you." Her father said as he headed towards the carriage to leave. Juliana just nodded and gave a small bow to her father as he left. She really had nothing much to say.

Returning to the courtyard he nodded in farewell to Juliana's Father. "I also will take my leave." Gray eyes traveled over to his own Father and a small resigned smile tugged at his lips. William sighed slightly and smiled back in the same manner. "Demiren." "Father." The simple exchange completed the two gave a bow of the heads to each other before William turned and left himself.

Standing there silently until both carriages were out of sight, Demiren finally sighed deeply and began undoing his vest as he turned and started to his room.

A few days past with Juliana not really saying anything to Demiren. She mostly avoided him if she could only seeing him in passing before she flitted away to some other area of the house. Today was much like those other days that she had been avoiding him. Of course she was making herself lonely by doing so there were servants yes but they were trained to tell you what you wanted to hear.

She sighed as she stared out the window of her brothers old room. She wishes he was there now to give her some sort of advice. Of course the advice he had always given her came back every time. "If they ever pair you up with someone run just run don't look back" "If only I could run Dorian." She said looking out at the rain that was coming down outside. It had been raining since yesterday and didn't look like it was going to let up anytime soon. She sighed as she continued to sit there wishing more and more things where different.

Surprising enough Demiren found himself not really minding his fiancee's disappearing trick. It was a difficult situation, he understood that...but she was ultimately going to run into him sooner or later. Unless she of course DID want to marry a complete stranger by the end of the month.

Glancing out of his window and down at the books his Father had sent over, which he was in the process of organizing into the small library they had (not that it was even half full yet), he found himself rather wanting to get out of the stuffy house. So grabbing a favorite read and an apple he wrapped himself up in a cloak and headed out for the barn.

Settling down, cloak and boots discarded, in the warm hay he shined the apple on the simple white shirt and took a bite as he opened the cover. Easily loosing himself into the pages Demiren was quite easily ready to pass another quiet afternoon.

---------

"...Milady? Have you seen Lord Demiren? Another package from his Father arrived and we can't seem to find him." She paused for a moment and fidgeted. "...anywhere." Yes Demiren was quite fond of finding odd little nooks and crannies in the house, but they could at least find him in those spots. Now it was like he'd vanished, and no sane person would be out in the rain....

"What do you mean you can't find him?" Juliana said turning away from the window and looking at the servant girl that had brought her out of her thoughts. She knew there were several area's to hide in when wanted to be left alone. "Are you certain you checked everywhere." When she girl gave a nod and said they had even checked the loft area she sighed. "I suppose I shall help you look for him. I guess I can't avoid him forever." She standing up from where she had been sitting in the window sill.

After a while of searching the house over again it was decided that Lord Demiren was definitely not inside. "Would he truly go out in this weather?" She asked to no one really the servants not even bothering to answer. "I guess we will have to go out into it and look for him there's a few places he might be. She looked at the servants none of whom seemed to want to go out into the weather. "Oh fine I will go myself you lousy lot of good for nothing." She muttered her statement fading out the door with her as she covered her hair with her cloak.

The rain was cold as she first checked the storehouse and the woodshed the closest places to the house. She shivered as she headed towards the only other place she knew to look which was the barn. It wasn't that far from the house but the trek was far enough that she had slipped in the mud twice and was now shaking like a leaf. "If he not in here then I don't know where else he could be." She said as she opened the door to the barn her cloak pulled as tightly against her as it could be of course it didn't really help much with her being soaking wet from slipping in the mud and into puddles.

The plot had finally thickened as the Vizier to the king turned out to be a spy, big surprise...not, and had tricked the hero into drinking poison. Munching on the half eaten apple eyes wide the orbs quickly scanned line after line of text as if the character would die if he read any slower. It truly made no difference though, he knew how it ended as he'd read the book at least five times before....still didn't stop it from being enthralling.

A low long creak from the barn door, admitting a cold gust of wind, broke his concentration. Blinking and rolling on his side to look at the edge of the loft he was on he didn't see anybody so they must of moved inside already. Probably noticing his boots and cloak at the bottom of the ladder, almost about dry by now. Shoving the apple in his mouth he used a piece of hay to mark his place before using his arms and legs to move through the hay, not really feeling like standing.

Reaching the edge of the wood he let his head dangle down to look at the person, his loose hair tickling his cheek and falling over his shoulders as he'd untied it long ago. Eyes widened at the muddy and shivering visage of his fiancee who seemed to be looking around. Propping himself up on one of his arms he used the other to remove the apple. "By God you look like your going to freeze to death!" Standing and shoving the apple back in his mouth he moved over to the ladder and climbed down to see what the poor woman wanted.

Reaching the bottom he moved over, tossing the now core of an apple into the compost heap, quickly removing her soaked cloak and replacing it with his dry and slightly warm one. Looking at her with concern and confusion he brushed a mud streak off her face. "Good god milady what were you doing outside?" He muttered looking her over.

"Looking for you since the servants wouldn't" she said through chattering teeth. She gladly took his dry cloak pulling it around herself sniffling some as she did. "They were worried since they couldn't find you inside the house. Something about another package from your father." She continued letting out a small sneeze and excusing herself for it.

"Your found so I will just go now and let them know." She said suddenly becoming a bit nervous. It had been three days since she had actually spoken with him other than a very brief hello. She really didn't know why she had been avoiding him, other than the fact she was still trying to figure a way out of marrying him but otherwise she wasn't really sure. She was still shivering as she turned to leave. She really didn't want to leave the barn it was much warmer than out in the rain. She just wasn't sure how to speak with Demiren at the moment especially if he asked her why she had been avoiding him.

Concern furrowed his brow deeper as her teeth chattered and she showed the startings of a cold. Feeling slight annoyance that the poor woman was freezing to death because the servants decided to have a lazy moment, he sighed heavily and ran his hand through his hair. "God Bless you." He murmured as she sneezed while trying to figure something out.

Her shift in body language drew back his attention and he watched her start her disappearing act. Sighing lightly he shook his head, "I don't bite you know." He said quietly. "I can understand you don't want this, but there's no need to be flat out rude to my face." Turning and sitting down to pull on his boots he didn't look at her. "I'll leave if it makes you feel better, but at least dry off a little....your going to catch your death." Standing and picking up the book he grabbed her soaked cloak and paused as he was just behind her.

Sighing once more he shifted what was in his hands before he moved forward and rubbed her arms to at least get some warmth back in the shivering female. Honestly he could feel the cold practically radiating off her! Deeming her slightly warmer he moved from behind her and started for the doors himself.

She had tensed at his touch and his words. She really hadn't been meaning to be rude to him. She just didn't know what else to do really. Whenever watching he mother and father interact she noticed them always say something swift and then her mother was gone. Shaking her head at the thought of acting like her mother she sighed. "Wait.. I'm sorry. It's just all this is very confusing for me." She said uncertainty in her voice as the words came out.

Her shivering slowed a bit but was still obvious and she sneezed a couple more times. "I am mainly going by how I have always seen my mother do things towards my father. I don't really mean to be that way it's just learned I guess." She continued after a bit more sneezing. She pulled Demiren's dry cloak even closer around her if that was possible.

Pausing as she spoke he turned slightly before fully around at the hesitant quality of her voice. He regarded her for a moment before sighing, "I can understand that, being confused...but I am in the same boat you know." Walking towards her slightly he looked surprised hearing her confession to her mother's behavior.

Thoughtful he rose a brow, "Your Mother was probably arranged with your Father. It would explain a few things...." Shrugging it off he noted the constant sneezing and sighed, lighter this time. "Come on...we should get you dried. You're going to get sick at this rate..." He said holding out a hand. Looking at the mud stained dress he actually debated carrying her to the house, then again he didn't really feel like scaring her to death, not to mention have a kicking and screaming fiancee.

She smiled slightly at his genuine concern it was unexpected. "Yes dry clothes do sound nice." She said stepping fowards a bit. She was unsure about taking his offered hand though. She shivered a bit more and finally decided just to take his hand it wouldn't hurt anything. As she reached out for his offered hand a wave of dizziness and exhaustion hit her and she stumbled forward instead almost falling.

Giving a small smile amidst his concern, Demiren couldn't help but chuckle quietly at the comment. "I'm sure it does." Watching her turn slightly hesitant at the offered hand, he kept still letting her make up her mind. If she shied away completely he'd drop it. However...seeing her finally relax and move forward he smiled and opened his hand slightly more.

But instead of her hand settling into his, he found himself reaching out and catching her before she fell flat on her face as she lost her footing. Concern renewed he craned his head to try and look her face as he held onto her securely, one arm going around her arm and waist and his other hand held onto her shoulder. "Are you alright?" He asked setting her back fully on her feet.

"I'm fine just tired I guess." She said sneezing again a slight blush on her face form having to be caught. "I think I can make it back to the house though." She said sniffling turning to face him a small smile on her face. "I should probably sleep more than I do." She confessed though she wasn't sure why she was seeing as he didn't know about her habit of staying up late into the hours of the night.

Humming under his breath he regarded Juliana for a moment. Raising an eyebrow at the confession he chuckled a smile re-worked its way onto his face. "I'd imagine that would be a smart idea in any case. Especially if you're going to devote your time in getting your way out of this. Plotters need their beauty-sleep after all."

Pulling back more fully, but still near in case she faltered again he looked thoughtful. After a moment he nodded his head as if made up his mind on a matter. "As for you making it back to the house....While I'm quite sure you could," He moved forward and picked her up, bridal style, before heading for the door. "I'd feel more confident if you hadn't already fallen on your way over, and hadn't nearly collapsed into me just a moment ago.....humor me." He pleaded pushing the door open with his back and closed again with his foot.

Her cloak and his books securely under her he moved through the rain, shifting her so she didn't get as wet again while he on the other hand was soaked within moments. The loose hair now clinging to his face and neck like a second skin and his shirt slowly following.
