I don't know why I put it off until now but I have just found out that I could get onto Midorea at school. This fact is beyond magical for me. Now off to go do my english journal and*cringe*read Hamlet.
Yeah, I always loved to find out that I could long onto things that I should not really be able to when I was in school. I do not agree with cringing at Hamlet though, I loved it.
I just wasn't expecting to be capable of accessing the site. All of the other forum sites I go to are always blocked (except proboards forums but I never go on there go onto them much anymore). A lot of the restrictions were taken off last year for some unfathomable reason. Like Facebook. ><
Well, I just didn't want to read Hamlet because we're reading it for the eighth or ninth day in a row. I like the later parts of Hamlet. Plus, I'm really lucky because that's how I found my classical scene for Drama class.
I found quite a few of my Avatar sites because the school blocked ALL of the larger ones. The smaller the site is, the less likely it is to be blocked, because less people go on it and it stays under the radar.
My friend and I would be in different computer labs talking on an obscure avatar forum that one of us had found. I'm in college now, and as long as you keep your viewing non-adult, they're okay with whatever.
What's the point of viewing adult things on the internet in public. That's just a bit ... odd. But my friend was telling me how she was in her class and this guy was playing an adult game in the middle of class. It's just odd to think that someone would do that kind of thing outside of their own sweet abode.
hahaha. i love this about uni. we're all grown ups, so no filtering anything online :'D
but hey, back in my secondary school our internet filtering system there was terrible. you couldnt get onto ANY type of forum, or gaming site, or whatever that could distract you in lesson.
but... you could go on ebay and search for sex toys XDDD
