And the new tally is a currency you get for posting - And is because the battle system needed to be taken down for a while due to a lot of lag etc.
Go to the Astralis Shop in shops and you'll be able to use it to buy Eye of God, which you exchange for the event items.
60 Astralis - 1 Eye of God

I still say the earning of Astralis be limited to the event forum though..
Too many RPers earning butt loads of them from posting unrelated things to the event. lol
