They currently serve no purpose and (as far as I know) can't be received.

So, since they don't have a purpose and probably can't be recieved, I guess there'll be a purpose in the future?

Maybe, or maybe not.

I think the spirit points are just a part of the system Mido uses (I suck at coding, so let's just say it's some codes for forum+battle sydtem/ avatar site). Since it was developed to look a bit like Dungeon & Dragon and other RPG, it includes lots of stuff.
Cat chose to use some, while others (less important, or things that didn't work well with the avatar system/ story of Midorea/ other things) were disabled. Maybe they will be used on day, if she finds a use for them. Big Grin
